「Room clean and tidy, facilities excellent. Food excellent. Staff friendly. Only negative points were at times noticeable staff shortage which affected service and Reception did not pass on to restaurant staff correct details of visitors having half board.」

「Nice clean and well presented hotel. Central location. Toby on reception dealt with my request accordingly and would recommend. Will return. 」

「The van was very clean and bedding was fresh. Towels were provided which was nice. The TV had apps like Netflix and prime on which was good. There were plenty of cooking utensils and trays/pans. The heating was easy to use and warmed up very quickly.The Indoor pool is warm and clean. The staff in Amelia's cafe were friendly. We would go again 」

「Great stay over Christmas. Well furnished lodge with a welcome treat! Located in lovely countryside, close to beaches and Exeter. 」

「Lovely hotel and so handy for the station opposite. I had a nice quiet room and I was delighted to have a bath as well as a shower. The decor was slightly dated but none the worse for that and I had everything I needed including plenty of storage space and a comfortable bed.. The staff were very pleasant and helpful」

「Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay 」
