「We had a great stay with incredible views of the surrounding. Check in was easy, and the host was accommodating of our needs. Would highly recommend this location for anyone looking to get a bit further away from the city. 」

「This was a super cool place to stay... There is nothing like it around. Three sides of the building are 1-sided mirrors, so we had a 180 degree view from inside, but no one could see in. The 2-person hot tub was an added bonus. Very clean and located a little ways off the golden circle road. I would highly recommend for a very unique experience. 」

「Glamping experience with nice amenities all around and a really unique lounge area in the barn. The main area is a large building and has multiple bathrooms and showers. The facilities and kitchen were a little tight for the amount of people when full, but ultimately worked out fine. The big surprise was the barn lounge area. I definitely recommend spending some time in what is a really cool and unique underground area. Overall, was a comfortable and fun stay.」

「Askot Cottages are beyond phenomenal! Our best stay in Iceland. The cottage design is thoughtful and purposeful. Every little detail adds to the comfort and experience for the guest. The instructions are presented in a beautifully designed booklet that was clear and complete. All the amenities were stocked and high quality. I wish every place I stayed could be this perfect! 「Wonderful stay in a remote/yet accessible area. We loved the layout and style of the cabin, modern and cozy. We had a couple of questions when we arrived and were challenged getting in touch with the owners, but I’m assuming it was user error as they had been responsive previously. Once we got in touch, everything was addressed immediately. They are building another cabin across the road and it looks gorgeous. Looking forward to staying there if we ever return to Iceland- which exceeded...

"We, a family of 3, booked a triple room for 1 night. We were assigned to have a room at the end of the corridor on the ground floor. The room was an accessible room where the bathroom was going to be very wet after taking bath. Because of ground floor, the room was just next to the Main Street that we couldn’t sleep throughout the whole night due to extremely noisy outside. Luckily we stayed there only for one night. "
