We stayed at this cozy little place the night we arrived in Papeete and again before flying out. The free airport shuttle was a lifesaver - staff were extremely friendly and did not hesitate to accommodate our 2 a.m. airport drop-off for our 4 a.m. flight. The rooms were simple but spotless, and it’s clear they put care into the decor - the beds were SO comfortable. Overall, a super convenient and welcoming stay!

We arrived on a later flight and there was a shuttle waiting to take us to the lodge (about a 5 min drive and check in was super eady). Our room was the separate casita on the property and close to a large communal outdoor kitchen that appeared to be fully stocked with coffee and tea for the morning. Staff were very friendly with fresh fruit and lei's on arrival. They offered to take us back to the airport the next morning to pick up our rental car, but we realized how close it was (15-18 min downhill) that we ended up walking.

Cleanliness could be better. There was black hair clinging to the bathroom wall and the shower wasn’t really clean. The bedroom is very simple, it is one room partitioned off from an apartment. You can hear the other tenants use the toilet and move around/talk clearly. Not really sure why there are such good reviews, especially as value for money does not match. Breakfast was very good!

The room, called a bungalow, was very tiny, not even enough room for our luggage, which ended up on the floor of the bathroom. No drawers or places to put our things. The shower was unusable since it cycled from hot to cold, over and over and never kept a constant temperature. Had to wash using the sink! Limited parking. Owner was not available. Replacement staff was friendly, but not very knowledgeable. Would not stay there again.
