"Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. Marine Hotel

8/10 Good

"We had a lovely stay here with our baby and toddler. The location was excellent just a short walk to the beach, and the castle was directly opposite, which looked beautiful lit up at night. There were plenty of nearby shops, cafés and places to grab breakfast, food and ice cream, making everything really convenient. It’s also a great spot for anyone who enjoys fishing. The only downside was that the hotel was a little run down and could do with some updating. However, it wasn’t particularly dirty and was perfectly fine for somewhere to sleep while spending most of the day exploring the local area. As a family with a baby and toddler, the location made everything easy and accessible. Overall, it’s a great base and reasonably priced if you’re looking for a convenient place to stay while visiting the nearby attractions."

"We stayed in an apartment with our three children. It was lovely and clean and perfect for us. We had two double beds in the living room and still plenty of space, and a separate bedroom with another double bed and the bathroom. The apartment was really well stocked with cutlery and plates cups etc. No issues with anything the apartment was really tidy and clean. The breakfast was lovely and staff very helpful. Good selection of cereals, pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurt. The hot selection was plentiful and tasty. Really good location not far from local amenities and a pebble beach, quick drive to portmadog."
