Clean room. Bathroom shower a little on the small side for a larger person. Staff was very helpful. Parking approx 5 minute walk. Location was good.

Overall, we had a very good stay, and the restaurant and bar were a major highlight. The restaurant/bar staff was outstanding. The cocktails were excellent, the team was genuinely friendly, and you could tell the bartenders took pride in their craft. The food was equally impressive — the salmon was exceptional. We enjoyed the experience so much that we went to the restaurant/bar all four nights of our stay. My only minor criticism is that service could be a little slow at times. The breakfast staff was just as impressive — extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Another great team. The one area where the hotel could improve is the front desk. We stayed for four nights and passed the desk many times coming and going. Even when we looked directly toward the staff, they rarely looked up or acknowledged us at all. A simple “good morning,” “welcome back,” or even eye contact would have made a difference. This was particularly noticeable because it was such a contrast to the warm hospitality we experienced at our hotel in Montreal. Overall, I really enjoyed the hotel, especially the restaurant, bar, and breakfast teams, and I would definitely stay here again. The front desk experience, however, did not match the otherwise excellent level of service and could benefit from some additional attention or training.
