Great place if you love the outdoors!

Overall it was a great place to stay. Loved the house, good secluded location with some fun things to do around the area. Well stocked for guests as well! It was a little dirty under/around the carpet, and we asked a question to the number about the DirectTV that wasn't answered but overall, it's great. Do recommend checking out the area before hand, as you are not super close to any big downtown area and groceries may be an issue for bigger families. Great time though and would come back.

Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Being from Atlanta we didn’t realize that not having an AC was common in this area, but opening the windows and enjoying the mountain air helped and was so lovely. The kitchen was perfectly stocked to feed a family of 9. Lots of room to separate for alone time when needed. The view from the porch is to die for. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Amazing Holiday Vacation

The entire property was great. The house had plenty of room for everyone with a loft for our family with small children and plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. The house was well stocked with pots & pans as well as place settings so we were able to have a great family Thanksgiving with just 1 trip to the grocery. Will stay again an absolute magical property.

Clean House

House was in great condition upon our arrival. Beds were all nicely made, and there were plenty of clean towels. One thing to note - I wish there was more space for trash disposal than just the 2 small cans in the laundry room. We had a large group, and some more trash space would've been nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Reel Good Time. Very peaceful, amazing views, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of games for entertainment. Easy access to many fishing spots nearby. Saw lots of deer, hummingbirds, rabbits and chipmunks around the house. The house has plenty of room for guests to spread out. The loft is huge with a king bed, 2 twins and a private bathroom. There's a full bath on each level. There were lots of spices and every kitchen utensil you could need. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay!

My husband and I worked from “home” for part of our stay while our kids (6 & 8) played and ventured out with grandparents. We enjoyed being able to spread out in the house and thought it was a great location for some seclusion and quiet while still being close enough to Buena Vista and Breckinridge to go adventuring. We REALLY appreciated that the house was well stocked. They provided enough TP to actually cover the number of people in our party for the days booked, had pet bowls, toys, and a kennel and had cleaning supplies so that we could keep up with any small spills or messes. We also saw a black bear, antelope, coyotes and a badger which is something we all enjoy.

Secluded and Peaceful

We had an amazing family weekend at this cabin in Fairplay. Very clean for a mountain property and one of the best stocked kitchens I have seen. We love to travel with our furry family, and this cabin has everything you need for your pup including a large crate with bed, dog toys, food and water bowls and doggie bags. I was totally impressed with all they have for your pet. Fun game room downstairs for the kids, and did I mention the views? Just stunning off the back deck. We had so ,much fun watching all the different birds and the cute little chipmunks. Stargazing at night was amazing as well. Check in and out was easy and communicated well. Thank you Second Home rentals, we will check out your other properties!

We have been staying with these folks for a long time and this was probably one of the nicest locations. elavation was great but yet at nite it chilled rite down. for six guys way comfy after riding atvs all day. just a great home to stay in. and to top off had a herd of antelope come by last nite

We Had A Reel Good Time

Location was perfect…just far enough from Fairplay to feel secluded. There are neighbors but apart from encountering a couple cars on the road we didn’t see or hear anyone. The views were great: we saw antelope off the deck just about every day. The place was very comfortable, and the kitchen had just about everything you could ever need. We loved our stay; really want to come back at some point.

Beautiful home with incredible views!

This house was incredible! Gorgeous views, the best deck ever with fire pit, and plenty of room for the entire family! Kept very clean and also very well stocked with tons of spices and cookware/dishes. Absolutely loved it here, and we will definitely be back!

Don't hesitate- book this cabin!

We loved our stay! The property is professionally managed. Super clean, nicely appointed, well-stocked kitchen. We spent one day skiing Copper Mountain and the rest of our time at the cabin. The view is spectacular. Downtown FairPlay was cute and had everything we needed.

Amazing Place For Family Gathering

The idyllic setting of this property was of storybook quality. The entire chalet was pure perfection. From walking through the door you are immersed in the rustic beauty and charm that is the Rockies and Colorado. Every room was exquisitely laid out down to the tiniest detail. We felt enveloped in a nurturing warmth, allowing us to totally relax while reconnecting as a family. Our stay was truly magical and we feel blessed for having had this experience. We thank you.

What a fantastic cabin! Spacious, clean and very nicely decorated with an awesome fireplace that we used lots. We are fortunate enough to live in Colorado and hope to be back many more times to come!
