Sea Captain's Estate in Falmouth Village

A lovely place for reunions, large families, wedding group accommodations and other celebrations. Enjoy a beautiful Captain's Estate + Guest House located just a few minutes' walk to Falmouth Village's Main Street cafes, shops and restaurants, close to Woods Hole & the Martha's Vineyard Ferry, and the Shining Sea Bikeway.

Ask us about Bike Rentals (with helmets) and Delivery straight to the property!

Surf Drive Beach is just 0.9 miles from the house.

The Main House has six bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom and TV - so there is plenty of opportunity for private space as well. Two bedrooms are on the first floor and four are upstairs. Settle in the large living room by the fireplace for a game or a puzzle, or cook up a hearty meal in the large, well-equipped kitchen.

The Guest House has a large studio-type bedroom with a king bed and cathedral ceiling, and a separate kitchen area and bathroom. Additional sleeping area possible (please inquire).

There is plenty of outdoor lawn area as well as a fire pit and lawn games available.

Easy access to the rest of the Cape, and to Martha's Vineyard by ferry.

Please note: We have a Minimum 7 Night Stay during Summer High Season (Mid-June through Labor Day) Sunday checkin/check out only.
PARKING: Guests of the Main House are limited to 4 vehicles.
Guests of the Guest House are limited to 1 vehicle.
Additional parking space(s) are possible in some circumstances. Please inquire.

All the current and updated amenities available while retaining the historic charm of the house. We were ideally located for walking into town, over to the Shining Sea Bikeway and to the beach, as well as to the bus to the ferry in Woods Hole to get to Martha’s Vineyard. Hosts were responsive to questions and a concern one guest had that arose. They even messaged me at one point about slow internet that they were already taking care of. The house was clean upon arrival. We found an abundance of dishes, pots and pans, and needed items in the kitchen for the meals we cooked together for a group of 14. We did not make use of the outdoor area, but it was beautiful and well kept. The front hedge along the sidewalk provided nice privacy from the road. Overall, we found nothing lacking at the Captain’s Estate and enjoyed our visit to the area.
