「Room booked wasn't room offered. Staff didn't apologise when they were made aware of situation. Got room changed. Free drink on arrival was a joke. Receptionist who had checked us in 10 minutes earlier and helped change our room to correct room refused to recognise me when I asked about free drink on arrival. 「The Serra was truly wonderful. It surpassed much more expensive hotels we have stayed at even taking account of status upgrades. The room was spacious and beautiful- one small criticism is the low hanging light over the table which I hit with my head - twice. But a lovely bath and separate huge shower along with high quality towels and robes. Lovely bar, sitting area and restaurant. I sound like an advert - but it was really that good.」

「Fantastic, generous breakfast. Very kind, helpful man running the place. I enjoyed my camp, gay bedroom at the top of the house. All essentials were 5* clean, just a touch of dust on some decorative objects stopped full 5* rating re cleanliness from me. Lots of Art Deco, vedettes du cinema. Fun. Interesting.
