This 3 season cottage is nestled on a hill overlooking our beautiful Faraday Trout Lake, in Bancroft, On. The cottage sleeps up to 7 people. There are 3 bedrooms featuring 2 queen beds, 2 singles, and a sofabed in the living room area for extra guests. The bathroom has a shower that backs onto the children's bedroom with single beds. New kitchen with new countertops and cabinets installed recently! The amenities this cottage offers are a full kitchen with small and large appliances, including a Kurig coffee maker, dishes and cutlery, and pots and pans. The bathroom includes a shower, and the living room is fully furnished living with a dining area for guests to relax and enjoy. All of our cottages include Amazon Firestick and DVD players. Attached to the cottage is a deck with beautiful views of the lake with patio furniture and propane BBQ, private dock, and rowboat with oars are provided to enjoy gathering with friends and family. Life jackets or (PFD's) are available for both adults and children in limited sizes upon request. We also provide a paddleboat and firepit, which are shared amongst the cottages.
As of June 2017, this propertys' kitchen has been fully renovated with new cabinets and countertops. Extension to main Dock has been installed!
General Area
Located on private lakefront property on Faraday Lake, which is about 4.9 miles from Bancroft. The shoreline is composed of sandy beach and rocky, picturesque areas. We are very particular about keeping both the interior and exterior areas clean, safe, and updated for all ages. Each cottage is completely private, with natural woodland surrounding each one.
Equipment Provided
Each cottage is fully equipped with modern indoor plumbing, hot and cold running water, and showers. All cottages feature a TV, toaster, Keurig coffee machine, microwave, as well as a conventional electric range, and fridge. Our cottages contain either wood burning stoves or electrical heaters. There is a propane Bar-B-Q for each cottage. All cottages come equipped with their own aluminum or fiberglass rowboat and dock. There is one paddleboat to be shared by guests. Campfires can be arranged at a safe outdoor private pit near the shoreline (provincial restrictions may apply). Firepit is not shared.

This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check-in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travelers canceling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travelers canceling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travelers canceling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
House rules: The primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, and pets permitted.
No smoking inside the cottage and no buts will be permitted to be disposed of on property.
We don't allow excessive drinking or load music on the property.
A max of 2 pets cottage are allowed, but must be leashed, all animals must be picked up after on the property and disposed in garbage property. We require guests with dogs to bring extra blankets to cover furniture in case it ends up on furniture. We ask that the animal not be allowed on the furniture.
All garbage and recyclables must be removed upon departure and taken to the local Faraday Township dump in clear garbage bags.
We provide a Temporary dump pass and kit. The Facility is now charging for Temporary dump pass. This is included within the cleaning fee.
