This is a budget hotel, & it's good for the price. The only truly negative thing I/we have to say is regarding the bed frame. It's made of metal, & whenever we accidentally kicked it, it made a noise like a gong! Very annoying in the middle of the night!

We had to go to the desk for soaps for the bathroom. Parking lot was glare ice. It was pretty treacherous to walk to and from your car. The room was clean and the breakfast well stocked when we got there.

When me and my friend arrived and checked in, the a/c and heater didn’t work or turn on, the door also did not have a lock that worked. The toilet paper in the bathroom had actually poop on it. We went to the front desk and asked for another room. When we moved into the different room there was inches of water in the bathtub, looked like someone just got done showering and it was clogged. Our second room was a smaller room than the one i originally booked. The door was also broken on the outside where you put your key to unlock it. The sheets and bedding were not clean and there was two bath towels in the bathroom. i stayed at this hotel a little over a year ago and had an amazing experience. This was by far the worst hotel experience i’ve had, no cleanliness and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. i’m extremely upset and will never go here again. This place needs new employees and housekeepers that actually take their job seriously and care about their customers.

We were quite disappointed with the stay. The rooms looked nothing like they were advertised. Rug ripped out and replaced with cold laminate flooring, headboards removed and holes in the walls left behind, wall decor removed and empty space in its place, all wall hooks removed from The room leaving no place to hang outdoor jackets (even the coat closet was missing hangers) and other articles of clothing, new flooring was installed throughout the room but old mouldings left in and shower is in desperate need of repair and refresh. One use of the shower and the bathroom was flooded with water from the loose shower head and gaps in the curtains and walls. The pillows were uncomfortable and small, and the same could be said for the 2 queen room. Breakfast was okay. And Pool was only open for half the stay. From older reviews it seems like it’s the norm for the pool to be closed. The parking was a huge safety concern. It was covered in ice with no attempt at salting, sanding or scraping. The parking lot was dimly lit, which added to the safety concerns. I can say the staff were very friendly and welcoming and always willing to help with anything needed. I wouldn’t stay here again until the hotel gets a compete refresh. Overall I felt the price for the room did not meet the quality that I was expecting.

There was a very strong and odd smell at the front desk when I checked into our room. I thought maybe it was due to the pool maintenance that there was a note taped to the front desk about. My family and I put our bags in our room on the second floor and were in the room no more than 5-10 minutes before we left to get supper. The smell upstairs was horribly strong and smelled of acetone or a strong glue. When we returned to the hotel maybe 90 minutes later, we grabbed our bags from the room and went to checkout, as we were already getting headaches. There was no mention of any work being done in the hotel nor mention of this strong smell at check-in. Due to the circumstances, of this being about our health, I asked the staff at the desk if we could get a refund of some sort, as there is no way we can stay there. There was a group of people at the front desk wanting a double bed room, which is what we had. The staff member said that “ the manager said that since we are fully booked, everyone has to pay at least one night fee. But I can leave a note for her to review and she can contact you.” I thanked her and said that would be great. This was Friday night. It is now Sunday and nobody has reached out to us, and the full charge for the room of 157 cleared my account PLUS the $50 incidental fee that SHOULD have fallen off! We literally were in the room for 10 minutes tops and checked out three hours maximum after checkin. This is deceitful business practices, in a LOT of ways.

Staff went above and beyond my expectations. I had an operation and the hospitalized me. Disturb for days in West acres in Fargo, North Dakota, one above and beyond by storing my food in the freezer until I returned almost 2 weeks later. I didn’t have much money and to get my food back was completely amazing The free breakfast is good in the morning and yes, the rooms are clean. The place is very well cared for her. The swimming pool and hot tub should be open back up this week or early next week. The owner said everything redone which I was still there to try out the new amenities

Having to give a $50 deposit in case I damaged anything. Things were already damaged. A floor lamp appeared to be in need of repair, some items were dusty, the shower did not look thoroughly cleaned and the drain cover had been removed. There also was an iron bar and screw that was on the side of the mattress that probably should not have been there..
