As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a comfortable living room, where you can unwind and enjoy the comforts of home. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, and all the necessary appliances, invites you to unleash your culinary skills and prepare delicious meals for your family. Savor your creations at the dining table, surrounded by the warmth of the space. When it's time to relax, you can take advantage of the free WiFi, Roku streaming, and the selection of card games and books, perfect for entertaining both adults and children. Step outside and enjoy the fresh air on the porch, or on our newly built deck with outdoor furniture. For those who love the great outdoors, Lake D'Arbonne State Park is just a 16-minute drive away and offers a wealth of opportunities for exploration and recreation. This vacation home is equipped with all the essentials you need, including 4 bedrooms (FYI: 4th bedroom doesn't have a T.V. and the AC vent doesn't blow as hard as the rest of the rooms), 2 bathrooms, cotton towels, a hair dryer, iron and board, and air conditioning and heating to ensure your comfort throughout your stay. With the convenience of a washing machine and dryer, you can pack light and focus on creating lasting memories during your time here. In addition, our house is truly a treat for fishermen. Lake D' Arbonne is one of the top fishing lakes in the country and home of some of the top fishing tournaments in the US. Even if just for relaxation and to unwind from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lake D'Arbonne is a great place to go to unwind.
    FYI: due to narrow roads parking is limited. No events/family gatherings held/ allowed in/at the house. Boat launch is nearby, we don't have boat house to store your boat.

Rinse w/dish soap all used kitchen utensils (Put food particles, used cooking oil/grease in a jar and put in the trash as we don't have garbage disposal. Load them in the dishwasher and run it.
Remove personal items, anything left in the house after check out will be in the trash. Turn off lights, turn off AC and push the lock button when you leave. Thank you!

We absolutely loved staying here! Laurie, our host, was so accommodating and even checked in on us the first night to see if the house met our expectations. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The house had everything we needed. Family board games, plenty of bedrooms. Our favorite part was spending family time fishing off their pier. We caught a lot of bass and catfish!! Our recent weekend stay at this lake house was absolutely fantastic! The property was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and with plenty of room for our family to spread out comfortably. A wonderful stay

This was a wonderful trip for our family. We were visiting the area for a funeral and this beautiful home was perfect for us. Absolutely gorgeous views of the lake and we spent many nights playing games and building puzzles to keep us occupied! Televisions available for the older kiddos. Very spacious and lovely decor that touched us on a personal level. The owners were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for us. From walking in the first impression is the cleanliness and the 2nd is the view! The host communications are accurate as you could ever want before, during and after the stay. So relaxing!

Wanted a family weekend somewhere close! This property was clean and had everything we needed. Looks small from outside but has so much open floor plan for visiting. There were board games, a poker table and my in-laws loved the recliners facing the water with a panoramic view! I could go on because it was amazing. Even the neighbor came to help us take a family pic! The host was helpful with any questions I had… don’t pass up this one! We definitely will be back!

Family Fun

This was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting other family who live nearby. It is welcoming and very clean. We are accustomed to bringing along ‘extras’ when we rent…no need here as the entire home is well-stocked. The view is amazing from inside and outside; even the lawn was beautiful. We felt safe and secure; strolling the friendly neighborhood was a treat. Laurie was very attentive to check in with us to see if we needed anything. All of our expectations were met with a ‘plus’. I arrived fully armed with personalized selections in my bag as most Short Term Luxury Rentals don’t always cover all the needed items. Let me tell you. This stay was wonderful and the host was amazing as well. The owners are thoughtful and go over the top on all selections of toiletries and towels etc. They did not cut corners anywhere. Room for Family

The neighborhood was very nice, scenic and clean. The house is in a cul de sac and easy to find. The paved driveway can hold four vehicles max. We asked Family to park at a public dock about an eighth of a mile up the street and we shuttled them back and forth. The house was an open concept, very clean and have all the items we needed to cook and clean. The living room, dining and kitchen are together, and you're able to step down into an glassed in patio which seats 10-12. The bedrooms were spacious for everyone that stayed. The two bedrooms with the twin beds were closed off in a "jack and jill" style with the bedroom leading into the huge laundry room into the huge restroom with walk in shower into the rear bedroom. This bedroom didn't have a TV and the vent did not blow as hard as the rest of the home but it was still very comfortable. The view outside was amazing, with the back yard leading to the dock off the lake. The only negative were the mosquitoes that gathered on the upper walls in the common area when the lights were on and the parking. I would definitely stay again without hestitation. reaching the house
