Very enjoyable stay

Really lovely relaxing stay with everything we needed. Location meant we weren’t overlooked. Great for watching all the different birds, especially the resident swallows. The villa is down a dirt track that is very narrow at times, but we got used to it. There were a couple of barking dogs that could be heard overnight, but aside from that everything was fab.

Quiet Portugeses stay

Lovely home with everything provided for a comfortable stay. Modern bathrooms with great showers and a bath. Well equipped kitchen and relaxing outdoor space with barbecue and very nice pool all well maintained. Communication with owner was spot on all information provided was clear and concise. 15 mins to Praia de Faro beach and several restaurants within 10 mins drive.We loved tbe quiet countryside surrounded by birds and the garden was beautiful. All in all an excellent stay.

Just what we needed!

Lovely holiday home, had everything we needed and more! Communication was great and everything in order. Pool area is clean, comfortable and relaxing. Sea in the distance and sunset view in evening. We were pleased we chose to stay here.

Great villa in a peaceful location

Family of four adults. Had a lovely relaxing break, with day trips out to various locations. Car a must, villa is well kept, some lovely restaurants nearby (5-10 mins in a car). Could do with some more towels, but otherwise well equipped for a great holiday. Many thanks, would recommend.

Wonderful stay

First time in Portugal and first time villa holiday. Was perfect we loved every minute of our stay. Villa was perfect. We arrived slightly earlier than check in and the housekeeper kindly allowed us to wait around the pool area until she had finished. The area was beautiful and peaceful. Only a short drive to some amazing restaurants. Portugal is so beautiful 🇵🇹 💓

Peace, tranquility and pool

We had a fantastic time at the property, the location was perfect for us, 20mins to the motorway and Faro but so quite. Access track to the house really wasn't a problem,we had a VW Polo and managed no problem at all, the house was in great decorative order and had everything that we needed, the pool was crystal clear and warm.Thank you Nicolas for letting us stay in your lovely holiday home.

Lovely country property

I visited with my family and young nephew and really enjoyed the countryside and peace offered by the country location. Property has a beautiful inviting swimming pool especially as the temperature was up in the high 30s during our visit. Facilities good but kitchen could do with a little TLC and we would have appreciated more than just a bath towel each (no hand towel provided). Would recommend visiting if you are looking to get away from it all

Fantastic villa - great location

We had a lovely stay in the villa. The location was perfect for us: rural and quiet. The communication with Nicolas was always prompt and easy. The villa itself is basic but has everything you need - this is reflected in the very reasonable price. I would recommend taking beach towels and also extra pillow cases to make use of the extra pillows stored in the cupboards. I would 100% recommend.

Nice quiet house in the hills of Faro

Very nice stay in a spacious Portuguese house in the hills of Faro. 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living area and a lovely outdoor space with a weekly maintained pool. Airco present for the hot Portuguese summer nights. Excellent directions and instructions by the owner, otherwise it would be rather difficult to find (except Google maps :-)). A car is needed for the Faro hills. Great restaurants in the neighbourhood and just a less than 15 min drive to Faro or Faro beach. We had a great stay for a week in may. Thank you, Nicolas.

A lovely relaxing villa

A very comfortable villa with a superb outside garden and pool. The communication with Nicolas was superb. There are mosquito protection on all windows although we didn't see any during our stay in early June..The villa is well equipped. The last 100 metres of the driveway is rocky but fine. We used the Continente supermarket in Loule which is easy to get to at just 10 mins from the villa. Wonderful wildlife around the garden with a resident Little Owl which visited us most evenings. Highly recommended for a peaceful countryside holiday.

Beautiful house for a family

Our family had a beautiful stay at this house! Our group consisted of 4 adults and 2 children and this property was the perfect size for our family. The pool area was very nice and we enjoyed the views of the garden and fruit trees. The house felt private, peaceful and quiet. The location of this house was ideal for us! We rented a car and had the opportunity to visit a lot of local areas including Faro, Albufeira, Tavira and Sevilla. There are multiple grocery stores and restaurants nearby and we had a number of beaches to choose from. Everything we needed was easily accessible. Nicolas was also a wonderful host! Communication was great and he was always very responsive with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this house to anyone!

House needs an urgent facelift

To reach the house, you have first to pass an unpaved, bumpy and narrow street. The first impression - after handling the not deactivated alarm system was disappointing. The house needs an urgent renovation, especially the bedrooms and the living room. The white walls aren´t white anymore, the wooden floor bricks in the sleeping rooms are loose, the beds are lowest quality, you have the impression to stay more in an youth hostel than in a good holiday home. We expected the owner to react to the multible feedback regarding the towel situation, but it is still like many guests complain. The fridge is more than 30 years old, the TV 19, and the house rules forbid you more than it allows. Don´t move the furniture, but how can you reach the bed or the closet when a rigid baby bed in in the way, The outdoor facilities - there is a big wooden table and 8 chairs, but all without cusions, the seating area near the grill is not anymore like shown in the pictures the new solution is scratchy, so you need some towels to feel more comfortable. Then the last point, the good one, the pool is great, the garden is great and the cloth line is prctical. Due to the hot temperatures and the sunny days - we really enjoyed during our stay, we would have preferred fo find more shade, The pool lies on the south side, so starting from the morning to afternoon, you have all the time sunny areas, the shadow area is blocked by the big wooden table an the 8 chairs without cusions.

Nice villa in a very quiet, rural neighborhood. Nice bathrooms and spacious kitchen. Comfy beds. Nice view from the pool to the (distant) Ocean. The pool was nice and clean. The place is secluded so very private, but car is a must.
