“This place really is paradise. Me and my girlfriend spent 9 nights here and had a fantastic time. The bungalows are spacious with your own sun beds overlooking the sea which is no more than 10/20 meters away. Food is very good and the portions are very generous. We did some excursions organised by the hotel and again everything ran perfect and was very enjoyable. The Tuk Tuk drivers and the taxi drivers they use are also very helpful and we felt perfectly safe and happy when we used them. The……

“Excellent!”

“Le Grand Bleu offers beautiful ocean views, a welcoming pool, and friendly staff. It's best suited for couples seeking a quiet, secluded retreat wanting few off-site activities. Consider before booking: The resort is **not ideal for guests with mobility limitations** due to steep walkways, uneven paths, and stairs. Wi-Fi is only available in the restaurant/pool area. The biggest drawback is the **cash-only policy** & there's no ATM on-site, **Ariary is the only currency accepted**. Plan on at……

“Hôtel agréable avec joli cadre”

“Allting utmärkt!”

“The room is very clean, the staff are attentive, and the 3 pools add to the beautiful experience. We had a pool side room which I recommend highly. ”

“Breakfast is continental with various additions. It does the job of getting the day started. The staff are attentive and will get you anything you want. The rooms are simple but clean but they do not have any air conditioning just some fans . The rooms can get very hot and it can be difficult to sleep. There is no fridge or coffee making facilities. Bring your own shower gel and soap as the hotel only provides a non scented soap stick for cleaning yourself. There is TV in the room but ours only……

“Staff were super friendly and gave us welcome drinks when we arrived. Food was really nice and they had a large selection of cocktails and mocktails. Only issue was sometimes they would make the cocktails ridiculously strong and the pillows were too hard/large for my liking”

“Loved the turtles and the parrots !”

“Our stay was extremely disappointing due to serious hygiene, food safety & service issues. We felt completely at the mercy of the staff rather than cared for as guests. We repeatedly found insects in our food—ants, gnats, mosquitoes & beetle like bugs across multiple meals. I have a plethora of photo/video evidence. After sending dishes back the issue continued & staff denied responsibility. We eventually ate in the kitchen to inspect food immediately & still found insects in several dishes +……
