The family-friendly Villa Nina residence is located in the picturesque coastal town of Fazana (Istria). It’s right on the water, making it ideal for families looking to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The property features a pool area with two pools—one of which is suitable for children—a well-maintained garden with barbecue facilities, and convenient on-site laundry facilities. A short walk along the beautiful coastal path by the sea takes you to the lively centre of Fazana, with its numerous restaurants, cafés, and ice cream stands.
The Superior Family Studio accommodates up to 3 people (at least 1 child required). It features a combined living and sleeping area with a double bed (160 cm x 200 cm) and a single sofa bed (80 cm x 200 cm). The well-equipped kitchenette features an induction stove, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and a refrigerator. A satellite TV and air conditioning are also provided. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, bidet, and sink. The studio also features a balcony with a table and chairs, which is perfect for relaxing. Travel time from the Croatian border is approximately 1 hour. Note: If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same style.
ARRIVAL DATE + LENGTH OF STAY
Please refer to the calendar for the arrival and departure dates as well as the minimum length of stay during your desired season. Note: If, for any reason, you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, check-in on the following day is of course possible (please notify us before arrival). The same applies if you wish to depart early. In this case as well, departure on the previous day is possible. However, the rental period and price specified at the time of booking remain unchanged.
BEACH
The pebble beach in Fazana is just a few steps away from the resort and is easily accessible on foot. It features both a private beach area with lounge chairs and umbrellas and a large public section. The gently sloping beach is particularly well-suited for families with small children, who can splash around safely in the shallow water here. Water sports enthusiasts can choose from windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and scuba diving. Fazana Beach is thus the ideal place to relax while sunbathing or to enjoy one of the many sports activities.
POOL
The resort features two magnificent pools: a spacious pool for adults and a separate, shallow children’s pool. Comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas surround the pools, inviting you to relax and soak up the sun. A cosy barbecue area with everything you need is available for social gatherings and can be reserved upon request for a fee. Perfect for summer evenings with family or friends around the crackling grill!
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
Families with children will enjoy the gently sloping pebble beach in Fazana, which is perfect for splashing around and playing. A popular destination is the nearby Brijuni National Park, featuring a safari park, a historic train, and exciting discoveries for young and old alike. In the evening, a stroll along the promenade beckons, with ice cream, fishing boats, and a beautiful sunset.

Those who want to stay in shape even on holiday are spoiled for choice. Water sports enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy: whether it’s windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, or paddleboarding—there’s something for everyone. Divers can explore the colourful underwater world of the Adriatic with the local diving school, from sunken amphorae to schools of colourful fish. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can explore the coast by bike or on marked hiking trails through olive groves and pine forests.

You’ll find a variety of shopping options within walking distance. Not only can you find groceries and everyday items right nearby, but you also have plenty of options for hours of leisurely shopping.
MEALS
The accommodation features a well-equipped kitchen. Breakfast can be booked on-site upon request. Other traditional restaurants and cosy konobas are just a few minutes’ walk away.

The family-friendly Villa Nina Apartments complex is located in the picturesque coastal town of Fazana in Istria, right on the sea and just 500 metres from the town centre. It is approximately 8 km from major attractions, 32 km from Pula, and about 10 km from Pula Airport.
TOWN AND SURROUNDINGS
Fazana—a small fishing village that is growing in popularity. During the summer months, numerous tourists visit the town to enjoy the beautiful beach promenade. Another reason is certainly the famous Veli Brijun Islands. These are open to the public, while the other islands are partly state-owned and partly privately owned and are guarded. In the exotic wildlife park within the national park, located in the north of Veli Brijun Island, you can see Nile antelopes, llamas, zebras, elephants, and many other animal species. In Fazana itself, you’ll find numerous culinary delights in the various restaurants. The many colourful houses and the hospitality of the locals invite you to visit and explore Fazana and its charming streets. Those interested in antiques should definitely visit the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel or the parish church of St. Cosmas. In short, there’s something for everyone in Fazana. One of the main attractions and, at the same time, the landmark of the city of Pula is the amphitheatre, which was built under Emperor Augustus and expanded under Emperor Vespasian. It could seat about 23,000 people, making it one of the largest amphitheatres built by the Romans. Between the two port cities of Umag and Pula, there are several towns worth visiting. Fazana, Rovinj, Vrsar, Poreč, as well as Pula and Umag themselves, offer numerous restaurants, shopping opportunities, and historic buildings that are definitely worth seeing. Various amusement parks, such as Istralandia, Aquacolors, or the Glavani Climbing Park, offer great opportunities for fun with the whole family. For nature lovers, we recommend a visit to the Brijuni Islands or the Jama-Grotta Beradine. Seafood lovers are in the right place in this region! Here you’ll find all kinds of fish, prepared in countless ways. You’ll also find excellent wine in Croatia. So if you’re looking to treat yourself, this is the perfect place. There’s plenty of entertainment in the evenings, too. Croatians love festivals, music, and getting together—whether at a nightclub, on the beach promenade, or in a small alleyway. So your evening entertainment is guaranteed. The hinterland behind the coastal strip offers many forests, bike paths, and hiking trails, so those seeking peace and quiet or active travellers will find plenty to enjoy. The famous weekly markets are usually held daily in Poreč, Rovinj, and Pula.
