Our regular check -in time is 3:00. When guests request an early check-in we try to accomodate them if the room they have reserved is cleaned and ready for them. In this case, upon their first request to check in early their room had not yet been cleaned and inspected by our staff. Upon their second request the room was ready and we were happy to check them in early. We try to advise all our guests that if they arrive in our village earlier in the day than 3:00 to give us a call, and if their room is ready we will check them in.

Darn! We wish we new who yoiu were, so we could thank you for enjoying our village and our inn.

We are very pleased you found us "Great". Not knowing how or through whom you made your booking, or whether or not you had any special amenities charged to your room, we cannot comment on the rate you paid. However, some online travel agencies that book rooms with us charge higher rates than others and keep a portion of it as their commission. It is unquestionabley better to book directly with the Inn for the best rate.

Yes, temporarily our restaurant is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We have chosen those days because our guests have other local dining options on those days, all within 2 blocks of the Inn. We hope you come back again, and are able to enjoy all we have to offer.

The grab & go, a result of Covid restrictions and staff shortages, is quite extensive with croissant, yogurt, power bar and a cheese wheel, along with butter and jam, and is enjoyed by most, but obviously not by all. Our Accessible Ground Floor Room, #250, was occupied by others during your stay, and we offered to move you to our Sister Inn next door, which had several ground floor rooms available. You declined to do so, and opted to stay in the room you had booked.
