Ski Right to your Doorstep | True Ski In/Out | Swim Spa & Steam Room

The Snowed Inn Chalet at Fernie Alpine Resort offers superior ski in/ski out mountain access from a well appointed lodge. The Snowed Inn Chalet can accommodate up to 10 adults with amenities such as two kitchens, steam room and swim spa. Ski to and from your door step with absolutely no walking. A rare find at Fernie Alpine Resort. Located on the Holiday ski run leading to the Elk Quad Chair.

Owner has a private lock off unit that is attached to the chalet, however she is rarely there.

Nightly rate and fees are taxed as follows: GST (5%), PST (8%) and MRDT (3%). All taxes and fees included in total amount. GST# 81860 3276 RT0001.

Due to new RDEK regulations at the Resort capacity cannot exceed 10 total guests or fines will occur.

Issues: microwave won’t rotate upstairs, dryer doesn’t work, Christmas tree and decorations still lying around, front steps outside are dangerous, mattresses are really uncomfortable, please sweep outside near hot tub so all sticks and pine needles don’t get tracked in pool, not ski in this time of year, all in all a clean huge house but . . . .

This house is in a great location- just minutes from the Elk Chair as well as the Platter & Magic Carpet. We arrived to late spring conditions but the snow started to fall on our second day and we were able to fully enjoy the ski-in / ski-out for the remainder of our week on the hill.

the location of the house is great and truly ski in ski out.the house itself is a little tired.... the management company or cleaning group could do a far better job organizing the kitchen - pots / pans other equipment are a disorganized mess tossed haphazardly into the various cabinets / drawers etc.the hot tub cover is broken - looks like a tree limb fell on it and a s a result all the panels seem water logged. generally it was hot but this was uneven throughout our stay.there could be better instructions for the TV's etc as the ones in the house were for a different named house (next door)The grill could use a good cleaning.overall we had a great time and the house worked well but for the price, it could use a little love before next season.

Amazing Accommodation and Location

Amazing accommodation and perfect location on the mountain. You can ski directly to the chairlift and at the end of the day you can ski directly to the doorstep from the top of the mountain.Huge building, nice living space for the family. Hot tub was lovely.Shared with another family and everyone had an amazing time at Fernie. Everyone had their own bedroom, no kids fighting over space or beds.The place needs a little TLC, as others have commented. Bumps and scratches everywhere. The beds/pillows were extremely uncomfortable and some of the rooms were extremely hot, even with the thermostats turned all the way down. Be careful what rooms and beds you take. Overall, we had an amazing time and I would definitely recommend this accommodation for a large family and I would rent again in the future

Perfect location. Lots of beds and bathrooms. Loved hot tub and steam room. Interesting selection of dishes! But we made do nicely! Lots of room to eat and play games. We had no tea towels, dish cloths, oven mitts but we sent a text and they came the next day. Overall it worked great for our family of 15.

Family Ski Holiday

The location was great-ski in/out made our stay so much easier with small children). There was lots of living space and bedrooms. The kitchen(s) were well equipped. The hot tub was great (however it was very dirty when we first arrived but that was taken care of promptly once we contacted the property manager). I would recommend that some general maintenance upgrade is required but it didn’t overly impact our stay.

Great space and location

The property had lots of space and rooms to accommodate our large group. The hot tub was great and could fit everyone after a long day of skiing. The property manager was very easy to communicate with and was able to adjust our check/check out dates by one day after a schedule change on our side. Both kitchens were fully equipped there were lots of towels.

Beautiful Spot, Clever Design

Booked this for a get-together with some friends over a weekend. The space is huge - two full-size kitchens, lots of rooms and beds and plenty of outdoor space to relax in. Really enjoyed the sauna, massive hot tub and the large wraparound balcony! The space is definitely a full-time rental - not exactly the cleanest space, with lots of dents and scratches on the walls and the classic busted hot tub lid - but would definitely book again.

Excellent stay

Location location location! What an awesome property. It is a true ski in-ski out with no need to walk anywhere to get to the lift. Check-in and out was seamless and the views from the living room were spectacular. The house is a bit dated and not the most pristine condition, but if you are coming to hit the mountain with a group there is no better place.

So much space!

This property and the things in it are a little older but there aren’t many properties I’ve seen that can comfortable sleep as many people. It is so spacious and comfortable and perfect for a large family get together. Plenty of table and lounging space. Huge hot tub and lots of bathrooms. Would definitely book this property again!

Property needs repairs

Great location, great space for large group but repairs are needed. If it hadn't been for Chris and his team from the property management company it would have been a really bad weekend. The price charged is accurate for a property that is well maintained, not one with damage on every wall and a TV from the 90s. Thank you Chris and your team at Fernie Central Reservations for correcting all that you could!
