Darby's Lakehouse Retreat

Located on beautiful Lake St John and nestled in cypress trees this lake house is a hidden treasure. From the 54 ft screened in front porch to the end of the 120 ft pier the sunset views are amazing. It is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Definitely a 5 star rental. Sleeps 10 and two more if you use the sectional to sleep on. Great fishing pier in the shade of cypress trees. You will never want to leave!

We stayed at this wonderful home while attending my granddaughter's wedding. It was so warm and comfortable and so relaxing to come "home" to after all the hustle and bustle of rehearsal and ceremony. There was plenty of room for the family to stretch out in the living room, the screened in back porch and out on the pier watching the sunset. Hostess Darby is very nice and communication was great. Would DEFINITELY stay here again. Thank you so much!

Great Lake Daze!!

This house is beyond charming. The rustic lake vibe and furniture is all beautiful.! We really enjoyed the house and all of the amenities. It was well stocked also. The host was easy to communicate with and available whenever we needed. You will not be disappointed with this charming lake house.

This property is incredible. The host has created the most comfortable, cozy home ever! The pictures do not do it justice. The decor is amazing, the home is so comfortable and inviting. Phenomenal getaway!

This is a fantastic rental property! Absolute serenity on Lake Saint John. A really beautiful house with a fantastic dock and a really good air conditioner And the host was so kind and helpful. Can’t say enough great things about this place. We are definitely coming back!

Most amazing memories made!!

Thank you so much for allowing our family the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful Memorial Day weekend on the lake in this beautiful house! No matter where you sit, there’s gorgeous scenery in front of you. The house was fully furnished with comfortable furniture & suited us perfectly! We were able to cook most meals in the spacious kitchen & even used the outdoor grill to make burgers & the fire pit to do smores. We will be coming back for sure! Couldn’t imagine a more perfect spot!

The perfect lakehouse getaway, fully stocked with everything we didn't think to bring! The lake and docks are wonderful for fishing and swimming. The house is beautiful, the beds are super comfortable, and the screened back porch makes you never want to leave!

Best back porch on the lake!!

Fabulous! Perfect location for our girls weekend! The house had everything we needed for a nice relaxing weekend with friends! Plenty of room and very clean. The owners were so easy to work with and very accommodating. Communication was top notch! The house is decorated so lovely- you feel right at home! The pier is wonderful and it was so nice to be right on the water. And, did I mention the back porch?!?! Huge screened in porch with plenty of seating and beautiful view- perfect for sipping morning coffee and evening wine! Definitely a 5 star property! Can’t wait to go back!!

Girls Trip

We stayed here for a girls trip and we could not have picked a better place. The house was very spacious and had plenty of room for the eight of us to spread out. The kitchen has everything and more than you need. The screened porch was a perfect place to hang out when the sun went down. The pier was amazing and we had so much fun fishing and swimming in the lake. Experienced the best communication I have ever had with a host before- Darby is just lovely and went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable trip. We definitely will return for future trips. Thanks so much again!!
