「We were attending a wedding at the 1880 Union Hotel. This property is just around the corner from the Hotel. It was so convenient to be able to walk to the Friday/Saturday events.」

「I booked a king, maybe queen size bed room, but when I checked in, it's 2 single beds room, and the room is too small. The front desk didn't tell me anything about this when I checked in. That's too bad!!!」

「The staff were friendly, pleasant, and caring. I complained upon checking in about the room's cleanliness, and within 5 minutes they were inspecting the room and cleaning. The issue as I'm told many times by locals is the "some-people" who come in and stay in Santa Maria with their "excessive" party like mentality. The room was clean, new paint, new sheets, and I liked my walk-in shower! it was new! some places you can tell that it needs renovation, but this place/room was clean and had been...

「The bed sheet connected to the bed is full of hair. I asked front desk to help me change the sheet, and then they gave me two sheet which is new and clean. Then I compared them, and find that the one on my bed is green, old, and dirty. The towel there is also dirty, which has soap remaining on.」
