"Not the most modern hotel, but the lovely grounds and friendly staff make it worth the stay. Gorgeous gardens, heated pool, and a horse farm right behind. Lots of nice touches like water bottles and tiny cinnamon buns and coffee in the room."

"The property is on a busy road. I was glad I asked for a room on the backside of the property. It was disappointing to find there was no coffeemaker in the room. Breakfast was good. There was quite a variety of items. They had coffee, but no decaf coffee. A staff member suggested diluting the regular coffee with water. When you can’t have caffeine that’s not an option. I was glad we stayed there but probably wouldn’t go back."

"It was handy to everywhere in Bennington (which, admittedly is a small town)and was a fine place to stay. Parking was a bit dicey, being on a steep side hill, and the main walkway out front ( a first floor balcony) was tilted a bit away from the building- a drink and I might have been over into the driveway. I would stay there again."
