“We stayed here for a long weekend, a group of girls from our family. Games, cooking, baking, puzzles, laughs, so much wonderful time together. The home offered so many spaces to be together but also to break apart into small groups or have alone time. Plenty of sleeping space. AC worked amazing. Kitchen super updated and so large! Deck table was fun to hang out at. Near town and grocery - loved going to Placerville downtown for a few hours and also Blue Barn Provisions - both close to home.……

“lovely place to go on long walks in both the mornings and the evenings with our dog. We saw deer wandering through the neighborhood almost every night. The house is clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend. ”

The fully equipped kitchen has a massive island, ideal for cooking and gathering. The comfy beds and tasteful furniture make it cozy, and the large plot with towering trees offers peace and serenity. Well-connected for exploring the region, it’s the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Highly recommend!”

“The cabin was as advertised and the location was very peaceful and beautiful and was only about 3 miles from a beautiful lake. ”

“We stayed here for the weekend. The home is beautifully kept with everything you need clearly marked and easy to find. Very clean with all of the amenities you will need. My one and only complaint would be the steep slope of the driveway which made parking challenging. Everything else was perfect.”

“The Chalet was clean and well-kept, the provided instructions for our stay were so easy and clear, the amenities were plentiful and as advertised, and we have never had the pleasure of working with a host as attentive, kind and pleasant as Chris! The location is beautiful and was perfect for a quiet weekend away from 4th of July fireworks (my dog doesn’t do well with fireworks). “We’re from Los Angeles and didn’t know much about Placerville before our visit, but we were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of activities nearby, and we enjoyed every single one. The house was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly. It was also conveniently close to downtown and local attractions.The only thing the house needs is a better WiFi. It’s super slow during our stay.”
