“This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed; the rooms are clean with tons of character. I love the style and the history of the place. There is a yard with a large outdoor kitchen and other fun games and stuff. Great for the kiddos! I'd like to find a reason to go back to the area just so that I can stay at this place again! And the American River is just right down the road (if you don't mind driving a gravel road). Love it and would definitely recommend! ”

“Could not have asked for a more splendid experience!!! Great hosts!! The quaintness of this little cabin is truly surreal!!! Rustic but yet has all the conveniences you need. I’m a stickler for having hot water and this cabin has great hot water. The lodge across the street is a must see. Sitting in front of the fireplace And enjoying good food on a cool Spring evening. Everyone should experience this little piece of heaven tucked away in the Sequoia National Forest.”

“We loved our two day stay at Aftermath! We had some serious wind both days, but it didn’t deter us from enjoying our time there. We still got in the hot tub and watched the sunset! The cabin is really cozy in the evening with the fireplace going, and cooking up our meals in the open kitchen. It was the perfect retreat for us! We shall return!”

“Beautiful location. Our cabin was simple but adequate for our stay. Very nice pool area! Not too many food options in the immediate vicinity so best to be prepared and bring some of your own food and drinking water. We would stay here again! ”

“Location is very beautiful and the cabin is very comfy. The 2-2.5 mile drive up is very manageable in dry conditions. However, it rained while we were there, and the mud was quite slippery going up or down. We had AWD, but it was still was difficult at times.”
