「We found the place a bit dated, stair railing was shaky and balcony felt a little unsafe in places. But overall it worked well for our family. We had the space we needed. Big plus was clean bathrooms in each bedroom. One of the bedrooms needed better lighting and one bedroom badly needed the broken blinds in the door replaced. 「In general, this place is decent. It's located inside the park, about 30 minutes away from the Valley. It is pretty clean and provides most of things needed for a couple of nights. When we needed coffee and more kitchen towel, I texted the staff and she dropped them off quickly. It's a bit pricey but I guess most properties inside the park during the summer over the weekend are probably similar. 」

「This is our second time in Yosemite West and this house did not disappoint. There are three bedrooms with king beds, in one of those rooms there is also a twin bed plus a twin trundle bed underneath it, and there are four queen size pull out couches in the living room/game room. The kitchen had all of the cooking dishes and utencils needed and the location can’t be beat!」

"This was the worst tent I've ever stayed in. The quilt was incredibly thin and filthy—essentially a sleeping bag-like blanket, with numerous stains, including a dark red one that looked like blood... disgusting. The blanket was also incredibly dirty and black. It was freezing cold at night. I stayed in my down jacket, curled up in it, unable to fall asleep for ages! The tent had three windows that let in drafts... even with my clothes on, I could still feel the wind on my head... I only managed about three or four hours of light sleep... At 4 a.m., the neighbor's alarm went off... followed by the sound of the bear box door opening... and at 5 a.m., another neighbor's alarm went off... For $182 a night, I'd be better off sleeping in my car!"
