「My husband and I stayed here for our Yosemite elopement. Overall I would stay here again! We had a few family meals and the space was perfect for hosting. The place wasn’t as clean as I would have liked but you are in the mountains so I still give 4 stars. We accidentally got locked out (so be careful with the locks) and wasn’t able to get in touch with the host and had to climb through the window lol. 「Lovely weekend at Yosemite in this house. We had 9 adults and two 3 yr olds and 2 infants. The downstairs separate accommodations were nice too. Nice kitchen well supplied, long dining table to accommodate all of us, good selection of programs on tv. and comfy beds. We drove into Yosemite for the day on Saturday and it started to snow just after we got back. The kids loved making snowballs on the deck, some of us saw a couple bears cross the road near the house, and waking on Sunday morning...

"This was the worst tent I've ever stayed in. The quilt was incredibly thin and filthy—essentially a sleeping bag-like blanket, with numerous stains, including a dark red one that looked like blood... disgusting. The blanket was also incredibly dirty and black. It was freezing cold at night. I stayed in my down jacket, curled up in it, unable to fall asleep for ages! The tent had three windows that let in drafts... even with my clothes on, I could still feel the wind on my head... I only managed about three or four hours of light sleep... At 4 a.m., the neighbor's alarm went off... followed by the sound of the bear box door opening... and at 5 a.m., another neighbor's alarm went off... For $182 a night, I'd be better off sleeping in my car!"
