“If you are visiting Istanbul, your travels should take you to Taksim. If so a great stay for the money at Taksim Çetinkaya Suite Hotel. I only stayed for a 12hr layover but was able to get around to restaurants, bars and clubs in the city. It was an excellent base of……

“They were delayed with check in for an hour and a half as the room was still “being cleaned “. Once we got the room , it was dirty and smelled like mold . We immediately checked out and cancelled the reservation , had to book a different place to stay. Also, location is not very good .”

The photos showing the view were taken from a floor above the apartment we were given, and the actual view is significantly obstructed by the roof of a nearby school. When I raised this issue with the host, I received no response whatsoever. The apartment was also surprisingly stripped of basic necessities. Beyond toilet paper and a few small bottles of……

“Our stay did not meet our expectations and involved several challenges that affected our family vacation. As a family of six, we had booked and fully paid for a specific apartment but were initially accommodated in a different inferior unit with fewer amenities than advertised.
From the first day, we encountered maintenance and cleanliness issues, including a damaged bed frame, malfunctioning appliances, water problems, dirty sheets, and broken showers. The damaged bed frame also caused……
