Top Finger Lakes Region Hotel Reviews

del Lago Resort & Casino
10/10 Excellent
"I went during the week, so the casino was relatively quiet. The room was clean and quiet, and I loved the waterfall showerhead. The room lights were switch and motion-sensor, but the sensor must have been turned because sometimes the lights just went out. There were reading lights on both sides of the bed, but either I couldn't operate them or there were no batteries. There was a mini fridge and a coffee machine, but no microwave. I really liked the room, but a microwave would have been ideal. The hotel was secure from the casino, needing a room key to operate. Be aware: if you ask for a room away from the elevators, you might be very far from the elevators. "

Comfort Inn & Suites Syracuse-Carrier Circle
10/10 Excellent
"I had an absolutely fantastic experience! From start to finish, the staff was incredibly helpful, polite, and efficient. The service was excellent. Highly recommended."

Microtel by Wyndham Penn Yan Finger Lakes Region
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was very pleasant and professional. Free breakfast was a plus! And parking is free and close to the hotel. Suite was perfect size."

Wyndham Rochester Downtown
2/10 Terrible
"Hotel was unreachable by phone after several attempts, a bad first sign and almost unheard of in 2026. Upon arrival, 2 hours after the check-in time of 3 PM, we were informed our room is not yet ready after waiting in line for an hour. We were told it would be another 10 minutes. 10 minutes later, we were told it would be another 10 minutes. We then decided to stay elsewhere. The front desk seemed unprepared and overwhelmed. It's preposterous to have guests' rooms unready past the agreed upon time and to be seemingly indifferent over it. Avoid it at all costs."

The Statler Hotel at Cornell University
10/10 Excellent
"Our room was so lovely, I had asked for the highest floor and a view of the lovely clock tower. We had both,. The amazing waiter at the restauant Taverna Banfi named Joseph was the real deal. He went way out of his way to offer us the most lovely experience. The food was so interesting and delicious, He also went and got me a hat with the Cornell logo when I told him we were celebrating my grandfather who taught at Cornell for his entire adult life and who cared so much about the University. Could not say enough about the Stattler. Will be back soon and on the regular."

41 Lakefront Hotel, Trademark Collection By Wyndham
6/10 Okay
"It was fine. It was clean, but worn. Could use some updating in the rooms and elevators."

"Parking staff"

Radisson Hotel Corning
10/10 Excellent
"Great location. Right at the edge of the Gaffer District, meaning it was a very short walk from our room to the end of the GlassFest block party. A short walk to the bus stops for the Corning Museum of Glass, and not a very long walk (about a mile) to the museum itself, which is very pleasant when the weather is nice. The parking lot was crowded (Memorial Day weekend), but I had no problem finding a spot. The hotel staff said that they would issue overnight permits for the municipal lot next door for any guest who could not find a spot in the hotel lot, which is wonderful."

LivAway Suites- Syracuse
8/10 Good
"The room is spacious, clean with nice amenities - especially the kitchen. The Coffee machine is cruises ship worthy, many choices. My only critical comment is that the rooms are a bit sterile and could use some artwork and an area rug."
