This beautiful vacation home, featuring its own pond and stream, is located in the Upper Bavarian town of Fischbachau, near the Wendelstein, Schliersee, scenic hiking trails, and popular ski resorts. It can accommodate up to 6 people.
On the first floor, you’ll find a cozy living room with a traditional corner bench and a stylish tiled stove that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Adjacent to this is the living room, which also offers a full-size sleeping area for one person. Furthermore, this level features a separate kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, and a light-filled reading nook in the entryway. For stays longer than three days, you’ll have access to an additional guest bathroom with a washer and dryer.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one of which has a balcony. The outdoor area features a garden with its own stream and a natural pool-like depression, an open terrace, and a charcoal grill. Enjoy the fantastic views of the mountain landscape and take advantage of the beautiful outdoor area and the cozy furnishings of the vacation home to relax after a variety of day trips.
As parents ourselves, we know just how much luggage you have to pack for your little ones, so a high chair, bottle warmer, and travel crib are, of course, available upon request. Children’s books, games, and LEGO bricks are also available.

The vacation home’s location offers you a home with virtually limitless recreational opportunities right on your doorstep. The popular ski resorts of Spitzingsee and Sudelfeld are only about a 10- to 17-minute drive away, so you can enjoy winter sports at any time. In the summer, cool off at the Fischbachau heated outdoor pool (24°C to 26°C) with a 62-meter-long water slide, or reach Schliersee in just 5 minutes, where you can enjoy a wonderful swim. Above the town of Schliersee, you’ll find the Schliersbergalm with summer attractions for children, including a summer toboggan run. The valley station of the Wendelstein aerial cableway is about 5 km away by car, and the cog railway station is about 25 km away. A 5-minute drive takes you to the SLYRS Bavarian Malt Whisky Distillery, where you can learn all about the “liquid gold” from Schliersee. Culture lovers will also find plenty to enjoy here: Markus Wasmeier’s Farm and Winter Sports Museum, as well as the Tegernsee Folk Theater, are all within easy reach.
The train station is just a stone’s throw away (about a 5-minute walk) from the property. Traveling through the picturesque towns of Schliersee and Miesbach, you’ll reach the state capital, Munich, in about 50 minutes.
