A fun and quirky little home. We especially liked the sunset view from the tower and the pool and firepit.The home was located in a nice neighborhood with only about a 10-15 minute drive to Canyon Lake. Our positives: the yard is fully fenced for a dog, the firepit and pool are great, the house layout was good for two families traveling together.

Great escape from the city

Location was great place for my friends and me to meet up at. Plenty of room and privacy for groups. Pool is great and kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Only critique is that the kitchen/dinning/ living area does get quite hot and ac unit can not keep up and cool adequately. Overall had great experience and would recommend to anyone

Beautiful location everything was accurate in the listing pool was amazing. The house is super unique, everything worked great only issue was the cleanliness of the house some minor complaints but overall had a fun weekend!

June 2024 Family Gathering

The house was great and well laid out for our needs. Very nice quite location and excellent view. The lighthouse was a big hit with everyone. However, the house could use a bit of TLC that is common for a house of this age. Oven did not heat properly and the grill really needs a deep cleaning and repair of door in front of propane tank. That being said we definitely want to come back to this property.

Exiting views

We loved every part about this place. From the views to the spacious house. But the people befor us left several dog poops in the courtyard, cigarette buts were left in the driveway and also the courtyard. The telescope that was advertised in the pics in the lighthouse was brocken by the previous guest and we didn't get to use it. That was one of the main reasons we pick this place. But besides the minor things I listed it was a great stay.

Property was beautiful!!!

I was completely amazed at the beauty of the property and the surrounding area. The house was everything I had hoped for and the pool was very relaxing. I thought the there were several things that were not as clean as it should have been, especially when charged an additional cleaning fee, but I would like to think it would be much cleaner the next time someone stays there. The area of Canyon Lake is very pleasant and quiet and so close to other areas to visit. Our trip was at a time that the drought was really bad so therefore the water for tubing was low but we had a great time and the lake was very low also but again didn't stop us from having a tremendous time. Even with the cleaning issue I would definitely stay here again and also I would recommend for others to stay as it was just a beautiful and relaxing week.

Peaceful stay

We truly enjoyed everything about our stay. For the most part, the property was as described. The yard was a little messy and the house could have been cleaner but it wasn't so bad that it affected our stay. The pool with its beautiful veiw was the highlight for me. The neighborhood was nice and quite. Property offered the privacy i wanted. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The gas grill didn't work but they had a charcoal pit which was even better to me. We bought food, charcoal, and wood. Thats it. Everything else you might need was there. I didn't need to reach out to the property management team but im confident that if i needed to, their response would have been quick. I say that because they were quick in response to all my emails before i made reservations and after. The weekend was perfect and exactly what my busy family needed.

Nice location , minor improvements needed.

The property was beautiful and there was a lot of space for people to enjoy within the home. If you are sensitive to using stairs, this is not the property for you. Every room/main area has a new set of stairs that must be used to access it. There are also very steep and misplaced steps leading to the top of the lighthouse room that can be very dangerous for children and even adults. The master bedroom does have a large bathroom however it is more of a room within a room that was created and the walls of the restroom do not go up to the ceiling so all noises/sounds can be heard. The master bathroom shower/tub is very high with wide walls and was very difficult to get in and out for someone 5'1" and below. In the middle of the night a shelf fell and made a loud noise. It was evident that this shelf had been screwed into the wall several times incorrectly causing it to fall repeatedly. We had tools in our vehicle and were able to fix it correctly. The property was also very dusty as if items that were not frequently used had not been dusted in a long time. We wish we would of known exactly about the amount of stairs because we did have a child under 2 and adults that could not access some areas of the home. However, the are considered to be minor improvements and the home itself is very beautiful and the outdoor setting was enjoyable..

Girls Weekend Getaway

The view was fantastic, the pool, amazing! Meteor shower the weekend we stayed was great! The beds were very comfy, and the neighborhood super quiet. Lots of stairs, so if you have mobility issues just take into consideration. However we did notice a few things about house. When we got in the stove was on, no flame, so the house was filled with propane. Some of our girls started feeling pretty sick. There were a ton of light switches which we couldn’t find what they were to and/or a lot of burnt out bulbs. The smaller full bathroom has some mold in the grout, some of the lights out in there, and the sink doesn’t seem to want to drain. The grass wall pieces kept falling from their place. The kitchen is advertised as “fully stocked” but we couldn’t seem to locate things like a spatula? And there’s a knife in the block with a chunk missing out of the blade. Overall good weekend and fairly easy fixes.

Lake house past its Prime

Our family booked this rental for a big get together. The pictures seemed perfect and the space was great for our large family. We are all adults with two little ones and we’re ready to enjoy all of the amenities, however when we got there it immediately felt as if the house was barely clean. After settling we went to enjoy the pool, but it was hard to ignore the trash that was scattered in the yard. We picked up the few pieces and it was unfortunate that that was only the start. For the outside: there was a foot size hole in the wrap-around-deck, siding that had fallen down from the lower level, and empty cigarette packages on the tables. The “fully stocked gourmet kitchen” was not fully stocked. The dishwasher did not have any cleaners to properly use it, and it left all the dishes greasy and half-washed when used. The bar area was sad sight to walk into. There was one wine glass hanging behind the bar, and absolutely nothing to make it one besides the sink and mini fridge that was slightly ding-y. There were also ping pong balls scattered about the front room that you could tell had been left over from messy beer pong games. And there was no small extras that you would assume would be there for house that costs this much: like an extra paper towel roll or two, a few tide pods or detergent options for the washer and dryer, and there were barely enough towels for that matter too. Amazing stay

Love the place! Attention to details and fun and creative home. Not good for elderly or anyone with mobility issues but we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful location, pool, unique layout and amenities. Couldn’t figure out the telescope tho lol.

Pictures don't do it justice, it's an amazing place. Clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The host was easy to contact. No issues while there, and only a few questions which had us reaching out to the host. The kitchen has enough pots and pans to make it through any decent meal. Maybe a little light on utensils, but we made it work. The kids had an amazing time, it was like an adventure to sleep in the lighthouse b7nk room and chill in the top 2 floors. We would absolutely come back next time we want to enjoy the area.

Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The pool and fire pit area was fantastic. Only issue we had was two of the AC units were not cooling very well. Upstairs and Kitchen area was a little warm but was tolerable. We would definitely stay here again.
