「The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. Far enough away from downtown Staunton that you felt like you were in the country but close enough to get to the theater in less than ten minutes.」

「The house is old but looks newly painted inside. It boasts a good size kitchen, dining room and 4 double bedrooms. There is a first floor bedroom if someone can’t walk the stairs. We used the screened side porch a lot and the hot tub every night. The only thing needed to enjoy outside hot tub are lights for the stairs to the deck. Close to Blue Ridge Parkway and 20 minutes from Charlottesville. 」

「When I arrived there was glass on the front lawn. The lawn needed to be mowed. The storm door was missing the bottom spring. There was a musty smell when we went inside. The hand soap in the downstairs bathroom was empty. The handle on the shower door was loose. The barbecue grill had two sides. The left side was filthy and the right side was rusty. I have used vrbo before and I was extremely dissatisfied. We were given two dish towels. The kitchen window was missing a blind as well as the back...

「We stayed here for a couple of nights over July 4th and it was a nice short getaway. The condo is in a good location - 5 min walk to resort restaurants - and is very comfortable.
