The house is in a beautiful neighborhood. It was clean and well kept and there was plenty of space for everyone, including a large dining room table, which was great for games (one of which we enjoyed from the games cabinet). We especially appreciated the fact that light switches and other features of the house were clearly labeled and no guessing was required.

Wonderful family getaway

Our family enjoyed this home very much. It was clean, in a quiet neighborhood, well stocked kitchen, and close to a park for the kids. The extra special treat was watching the deer roam in the wooded area while we were sitting on the back porch.

Relaxing visit

We really enjoyed our stay at the house and hope to come back again. Kim provided all the info we needed and responded quickly. We appreciate how the house was fully stocked with all the necessary toiletries. The house was very clean and comfortable. Watching the deer in the back was an added plus. While there was a slight problem with the plumbing, Kim was quick to respond.

Beautiful home, so cozy fireplace

The house is very well laid out and spotlessly clean. We made a full thanksgiving meal and had all items we needed, and the house was so peaceful to spend the day nestled in. Beautiful fireplace (spent much time talking by it) and the beds were comfy. We saw plenty of deer in the quiet neighborhood yard. Games were provided and fun. Spent the morning putting a cute puzzle together with our 6 year old. Tip: the pool is at the public athletic club, hours vary with the holidays. The owner was very transparent about that with us, which we also greatly appreciated!

Charming Cozy Cottage

Everything about this cozy, charming home was perfect for our three-night stay in Flagstaff. It is located in a secluded neighborhood on a large tree-filled lot giving it a woodsy, private feeling. A highlight was sitting in the spacious living room watching the deer through the large windows. We also enjoyed sitting in the second common area where there was an easy-to-use fireplace controlled by a wall thermostat. The three bedrooms and two baths could easily accommodate six people comfortably. The kitchen was modern and intuitively organized with every kind of spice, pot, plan, appliance, tool, or dish you could hope for. The location was perfect - secluded enough to feel woodsy, but only a 10 minute drive to any part of Flagstaff including the charming downtown area. We will definitely come back in the summer to make use of the back patio and fire pit. Working with the owners was a dream - they were kind, responsive, and caring - you can see this reflected in the happy vibe of this wonderful property.

Putting up 6 for Blue Jay Hill!

What a great place for a few days, a week or even a month--esp for enjoying not-so-touristy early Spring in Flagstaff. If we could give it a 6-star rating, we would. The owners have nicely outfitted this modern 3-bdrm rancher on Flag's super convenient, wooded east side for their own family--which is a real sweet deal for yours. Hard to think what it doesn't offer in the way of relaxing spaces, playing tunes, catching some TV and enjoying a fireplace in the LR and firebox and BBQ on the back patio. Whoaa!. Plus kitchen gizmos and staples for about everything you need to get going in your stay. All the beds were solid comfy, with extra blankets and pillows all over. And hard to miss the friendly deer and elk wandering around the area! We'll be back for a good long stay next February!

Our new favorite mountain retreat

This rental is so well done- very clean, tasteful decor, plenty of seating and spaces, stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and otherwise (more than any other VRBO we've stayed in). The location is in a wooded, quiet neighborhood and we saw deer every day out the back window. It felt like another world coming from Phoenix. We appreciated they don't allow pets- we have tons of allergies so that is important and was hard to find in Flagstaff. We appreciated the puzzles/games/Xbox/fire pit that kept all of us entertained and together. We appreciated the attention to detail with labels and instructions within the home- it made for a smooth, comfortable stay. Kim and Doug are superb hosts- very communicative and accommodating. Even their neighbors are nice and helped us with our car in the snow! Would absolutely recommend and we hope to go back.
