While the house is not directly on the reiver that was okay. We figured it would be hard to find a house right on the river with amazing views of the mountains off in the distance. "Property was great when we were there, the only thing that was a bummer was I think the pool pump was back flushing in the middle of the night. I think it was on a timer At 2:30 am and ran for a long time and we had to shut the windows because of the noise of running water. Also most mornings at 6:00 the pool was being filled on a timer and the pump ran for at least 4 hours at a time, so there was not much water pressure so couldn’t take a morning shower. "We had a great time at the sawmill cottage! Jen was a wonderful host and even gave us a tour of her farm, highly recommend! The cottage was clean and bed was comfortable. Absolutely no cell service or television, and that gave us some time to spend unplugged and play board games and watch dvds together!! Campfire area is awesome as well. Loved it, thanks Jen for the experience and helping us with maps of the area!"
