Loveliest of times at this home!! Friendly, present hosts. Great location for what we needed. Would do fine without the scented plug-ins, but that was an easy adjustment. Would be so happy to stay there again.

Cozy cottage

The wife and I suggest everyone give this place a shot. It’s cozy and very peaceful. The owners are lovely and answered all of our questions and also gave good suggestions for hiking, restaurants and tourist places all over the area. We highly recommend this place for a loving couple. We will definitely be back, soon!

Great location! Great hosts!!

This was the first time booking a Vrbo and it was a great experience! Yvonne and Jim made sure that almost anything a guest would need was provided. Towels, snacks, coffee, hair dryer, fresh towels, etc. Yvonne greeted us upon arrival and we had called to let her know it would be a late check in. She was there with a smile to show us our room. Although this is in their home, it felt very private. It was close to all we planned to do! Perfect location! We had the opportunity to visit with Yvonne and Jim when we checked out and just loved talking with them! We will be back!! Thank you for providing a great place to lay our heads!!

Super comfortable and great location

Our hosts were very kind and helpful with info on local areas. The beds were super comfortable, which is not always the case with some VRBOs. Amenities were all there as needed...and it had a great shower. It was quiet and was perfect for a writers' weekend get away. Our book is nearly complete now!

Flintstone GA comfy stay

Yvonne and Jim are some of the friendliest, most accommodating hosts that I’ve had. The Roost is a quaint home away from home. Very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Even though the Roost is upstairs in their home, we had so much privacy, didn’t see them except for the first and last day, it was a space to ourselves. We will be staying again!

Friendly family, great stay!

Perfect and so affordable!

Cozy little place

The owners were great and very helpful with reviews of local things to do. It’s a perfect location for lookout mountain, Chattanooga downtown and plenty of hiking trails all around. The rooms we stayed in were nice and clean. Very cozy. I would stay here again on our next visit to the area. 5 Stars easily.

Welcoming Hosts and Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay in Flintstone. The hosts are very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The apartment perfectly fit our needs. The beds were comfortable, the snacks were a great perk, and the area is quiet and safe. The area is beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable and cozy

Staying at the Roost was a fantastic experience! Yvonne and Jim are so welcoming, and they really have thought of everything to make the place feel like home. Our first VRBO

We had an excellent, multi-night stay at The Roost! All five beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, and the teenagers appreciated the snacks. Easy to find and felt safe and homey. Host communication was top-notch. We would definitely visit again if we’re back in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Yvonne and Jim!

The Roost is great!

Our stay at The Roost was fantastic! There was plenty of space for our group of four of 2 adults and two teens. There were comfy beds, a nice work space to do homework, games for unwinding, plenty of snacks/cocoa for a special treat, and the hosts were really sweet and informative. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Want to feel like you're at home?! Stay here!

I felt like I was at home! Yvonne and Jim made sure you felt welcomed and any needs were met. The Roost was located in a nice and quiet location, perfect for a relaxing getaway! I appreciated that Yvonne had snacks and drinks (coffee, juice) provided for us already stocked in our fridge. I would stay here again in an instant!

I loved the proximity to the city without being in the middle of everything. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We had no issues throughout the experience, and I would book this location again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Stay!

I cannot say enough about the Roost. The property is so beautiful and the home is warm and comforting. Yvonne met us outside to greet us and is just a light in a dark world kind of person. Their back deck is super cute to sip wine or coffee. The stairs up to the space are steep - but Yvonne volunteered her husband to carry any of our heavy luggage. Upstairs the space is gorgeous! It is NOTHING like an attic and it is spotless! So clean! It's very spacious (the ceiling in places is low, but not a big issue for short people like me). The beds and futon are comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The ac/heating unit works amazing. Yvonne even provided a small fan to have white noise. The bathroom is larger than I thought it would be with plenty of towels and a hair dryer. What I think was the best is the little items she provides. Biscotti for the coffee, crackers, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, tea etc. It was perfectly set up with room to eat at a table and the fridge is perfect and stocked with juice and yogurt. There is a small water cooler to use for drinking and to make coffee. Another amazing touch was Yvonne would NOT allow us to do our own dishes. She asked that you place them in a small dishwashing basin and leave them downstairs in her kitchen. We said we were perfectly able to wash-up after ourselves and she would not have it! She said she was there to take care of us. :) We enjoyed our stay so very much. The area is beautiful and super close to Chattanooga. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much Yvonne and Jim!!!

The Roost is a lovely place to nest for the night

The apartment is quaint, cozy, and clean. The beds are very comfy and the stocked fridge and munchies is such a nice touch. We were always so pleased to return to the Roost at night after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. It really felt like coming home. The owners are so warm and hospitable, we instantly felt like they were long-time friends. We hope to come back to the Roost again!

Quick trip with the kids

We had a quick post-Christmas getaway. The location was super convenient to Chattanooga but in a very quiet neighborhood. Yvonne & Jim were so friendly! We loved The Roost and would definitely stay again!!

A pleasant stay

We had a great stay at this rental. We stayed in what they call the roost, which is the attic. It was spacious and very clean. The hosts were very friendly. We we were in close proximity to everything we wanted to see and do, which was all in Chattanooga. I'd definitely stay here again.
