「Charming but in need of updating. Peaceful area and a nice hour's stroll (or less) into the attached Manor Park and its lovely pinetum. It was very muddy and boggy in the park in February, wellies are a must! Our room (12) was classed as a 'superior' but I don't think that was warranted. 「If you are looking for an authentic experience this is the place to stay. Beautiful property, full of history. Room was superb and bed absolutely amazing. Wonderful bath with soft hot water. Excellent breakfast as ordered. Great Host. Would definitely stay again. If you dont mind exploring and checking yourself in/out without a receptionist this place is a must visit.」

「Small room but ok for our short stay. Breakfast on the 1st day was missing a couple of ingredients smoked salmon and avocado but other breakfast meals made up for the missing options. Staff in hotel and restaurant very good.」

「Overall not bad. The hotel was built a long time ago. Even though you took the lift, there were still many stairs to go if you were assigned to the 3rd floor. I checked out the hotel on 5/21 morning. The black girl at the front desk was not very helpful.」
