“Absolutely Fantastic Stay – A Real Oasis! I stayed here last night and had an amazing experience from start to finish. I was pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a suite, which was a lovely gesture. “My colleague and I really enjoyed our stay at Merya Hotel when we visited Jeddah for the Formula 1. The hotel is in a great location within easy reach of the beach and corniche by taxi. It’s only 25 minutes from the airport, and has a great range of coffee shops and eateries nearby within walking distance. The hotel was in good condition, the rooms (we each had a one-bed suite) were a great size and very well-kept. Although the rooms did not have housekeeping during our stay, we were able to get……

“I stayed here with my husband for 10 nights. It was a very nice room with just about everything we needed. I made the reservation online and they were kind enough to let my husband check in since he arrived 8 hours before me. They also let us check out late the day we left since the flight wasn’t until nighttime. That was a huge help and I really appreciated it. The kitchen was good for preparing meals and the washing machine was great. We may stay here again next month. ”

“The staff did extra little things for us which was most appreciated. The view from the rooftop restaurant is very special but on windy days, guests would be well advised to bring a hat and jacket. The only drawback is the location of the hotel as most everything in the immediate vicinity is either closed or under construction. ”

The hotel is older, but in very good condition. I very much enjoy this place. It is centrally located to many places and we find it just lovely.”
