Huckleberry House

Spacious, comfortable and well stocked vacation family house. Large deck areas in a beautiful woodland setting with a lake view. Hot tub was very nice and there is a Bbq grill on the deck. Feels secluded but convenient to get to downtown Florence and local activities and Honeymans State Park. We had a great week staying there.

Beautiful Weekend!

The Huckleberry House was a great place to stay! We used the grill, hot tub, and kitchen extensively without problems. The view is gorgeous, especially at sunset. Debra, the house host is very sweet and helpful. Her instructions for the checkin and checkout process were perfect. Her communication was excellent! You will have a great time here!

Eclipse

I went there to try to see the Ring of Fire Eclipse Oct 14. Unfortunately the clouds didn't clear, but everything about this house was so great we had a good trip anyway.

Best house we've found!

My family of nine has been renting houses in the Florence area for years and this is the best yet. It had everything we need and then some. The house is maintained well and has a gorgeous view of the lake!

Great place for friend reunion

We had a wonderful stay - the house was comfortable, well-equipped, and convenient to various coastal activities. I recommend staying here. Some things that stand out in particular: the kitchen was really well equipped with pots, pans, dishes, spices, and every little thing you might want. Everything was set up to be really easy to find/use/figure out (e.g. hot tub, tv, lights). The view of the lake was lovely and the deck was an excellent place to spend time. Also, the setting was very quiet and tranquil.

this is a. great house. well taken care of.

Well looked after, clean and has absolutely everything you need. my family and friends enjoyed a relaxing paddling hiking week. I got to be here by myself during the week and loved it. By the Way Fred I left you Jam from the Blackberries in the yard.

Great location (no problem finding thanks to host Debra's directions), great home with everything we needed to cook for 7 of us, very comfortable home complete with little touches that for a great stay. Hot tub was very much enjoyed by all 3 generations, as was the view that overlooked the lake. Debra went above and beyond when our 17 year old granddaughter thought she ordered something to be delivered directly to Huckleberry House, but was delivered to Debra's USPO box. Debra very kindly retrieved the item and hand delivered it to our very grateful granddaughter. We hope to return for our family gathering next year.

All the Comforts of Home - And Then Some!

The Huckleberry House is a true gem. Tucked back in the woods with amazing views of Woahink Lake, this house had absolutely everything that we needed. I have stayed in many rental homes and have never had a more well stocked kitchen. It was also one of the cleanest homes. We were so pleased with this home, that we would truly like to return for another visit. Unfortunately, it looks like the secret is out, as it appears to be booked up until 2024! Good memories were made and we are grateful for the family time we had while there.

Completely stocked house!

I brought kitchen items from home in order to cook Thanksgiving dinner but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was unnecessary! This house is completely stocked with kitchen items along with bedding and towels The house layout was great for our family of six. The beds were very comfortable. The view of the lake was beautiful. The host was very communicative. I hope we can stay again!

Great rental house!

The description of the property was spot on. The house was really well stocked. It could use updated furniture, but it was very clean. The location and view from the house is just perfect. Definitely recommend if you are looking for that cabin by the lake kind of house. You have to be pretty skilled to get a long trailer and truck around the driveway though, it's a pretty tight turn. Overall loved it and would definitely chose this house for future trips!

We enjoyed such a relaxing weekend at the huckleberry house. It was cute, clean, spacious, and easy to access. We love the hot tub, open kitchen and the beautiful views! Downstairs is a bit musty but they have dehumidifiers to assist with that. We really enjoyed your stay and would love to come back!

Secluded and quiet

The house is surrounded by trees with a nice view of the lake. Felt like we were in a treehouse. We had a wonderful time and were very comfortable. The kitchen in well stocked with dishes and whatever you might need for cooking. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Family trip

We spent spring break with our family riding quads on the dunes. The house was great and had everything we needed. Great location and a beautiful view, with a wonderful deck to take in the view. The hot tub was great after a day of riding.
