The property was wonderful. I rented the house for a reunion with my Smith friends and it was just perfect. The house was very comfortable and bright. The beds were super cozy and the place is beautifully decorated. We also enjoyed visiting with the barn cats on the porch! Our only issue was with the fireplace not drafting properly and smoke billowing into the living room, leading us to extinguishing the fire. Would rent this place again!

What a great house! This was a perfect place for a group of six friends. The house and grounds are beautiful. The house is comfortable and well appointed. The owners did a remarkable restoration. It’s charming and historic but doesn’t lack the modern amenities you want - WiFi, a very nice kitchen, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms…. The charming towns of Florence (walkable) and Northampton is a huge plus. We appreciated the thoroughness of the communications and the quick responses from the owner. Just a fantastic weekend all-around.

Colonial Splendor

The Ross-Hill Farmhouse is a historical treasure, brought to life by the talented hands of our hosts, Jacqueline & Lance.We loved learning about the history of the property and the home. The work our hosts have done on the home is just superb. The funishings, the artwork, the attention to detail...this is as fine a home as we will ever visit. It was a priviledge to spend our double birthday weekend at this fantastic home.Also, shout out to the Pines Theatre at Look Park.We enjoyed back-to-back nights of incredible music at one of the most intimate outdoor concert venues in New England.We have have started an annual tradition here.
