We were not aware of this until after the free cancellation period was over. There is no mention in the listing or confirmation that the passport would be the only document accepted. 「In a great central location, plenty shops, places to eat, pubs all around and very quick walk to the coast which was beautiful, didn’t realise Folkestone was so nice! Outside building looked very nice, access lobby area clean and inviting. Great shower! (good water pressure!)Apartment was compact but had everything needed. 「Overall this place was exactly what we needed for one night before taking the Chunnel. Even the neighbors were so kind and helpful! There were amenities within walking distance, and the town center was just a few minutes drive away. Folkestone is a beautiful town. Thank you for a nice stay!」

「I stayed for one night at Channel View and we had a lovely time. Sonia and Lee were very accommodating and let us check in early and check out late. The Prosecco and snacks on arrival were a great touch to go with our time spent in the hot tub. I would definitely stay here again!」
