We had a wonderful time at Mermaid Memories! Location was great, beach was great and they had everything we needed! It was cozy, comfortable and clean! We loved it and we’d love to visit again! Great house!!!

Almost perfect…

House, Location, accommodations and beach were all STUNNING . The only reason is not a perfect scored Is because of complete excessive amount of miscellaneous decorations everywhere in the house.

Folly Fun Time

Just as pictured, great location, perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach! While some reviews focus on being dated, we give the owners credit for doing it their way, and actually living in the space, not trying to be trendy or picture perfect. The home is cozy, and no doubt the place of nostalgia and memories over the years. Thanks for sharing this welcoming coastal home!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! House was close to everything we needed and it was the perfect spot on the beach. We rode bikes to breakfast each morning and thoroughly enjoyed the house..especially the sunroom! Already planning to go back!

College girls 60th bdays

Perfect place for us all to gather. Loved the beach walks, sunrises. Hired a chef one night to serve us dinner and ate by the water. Thank you for great memories.

Great View of Ocean the moment you walk in front door. My favorite place to chill was the daybed on porch. Kitchen is well equipped & water pressure in bathrooms was very good. We loved that it was so close to the County Park. We were completely satisfied with this Beach House and would rent it again.

Perfect beach bungalow

This sweet home has the best view at Folly Beach. It looks exactly like the pictures on the website. It was extremely clean and well maintained. It had every comfort you could possibly need. I would highly recommend this home!

Great place! Seven of us stayed in the Mermaid Memories house. There was plenty of sleeping space, and we managed to work with the 2 bathrooms. The view is spectacular! Right on the beach, beautiful deck, hammock, and sunroom. The house was clean and very comfortable. It was a wonderful stay!

Amazing beach, wonderful property and the perfect distance from city center (a short bike ride). Very comfortable and an accurate listing from the owner. First time to South Carolina beaches. Would love to revisit !

The view alone!!!

One of the best houses we’ve ever rented. The view of the ocean from the sunroom and deck is amazing. The house was very clean and comfortable. It had two oceanfront king suites. The kitchen was well stocked. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate so we’re ready to go back.

Beachiful

The house was perfect! Big enough to fit the family and feel like we all had our own spaces/bathrooms. Far enough away from the pier to basically have the beach to yourself on multiple occasions, but close enough to walk along the beach to dinner every night. Was awesome to rent some beach gear, went paddle boarding, saw dolphins sitting on the deck. Would recommend!

Perfect Family vacation!

Staying at Mermaid memories was such a joy. The back porch and view of the ocean was breathtaking. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Getting to walk right down to the beach each morning with our three kids was priceless. The house was clean and comfortable and very homey. We cooked in the kitchen each night of our stay and it was so easy ! We found shark teeth and hermit crabs on the beach and enjoyed the tide going in and out each day. We very much look forward to staying at Mermaid memories again !

Charming, Well Kept and Perfect Location

What a cute little house. You can tell from the minute you walk in the home is loved by somebody not just a rental machine. The location is lovely for those who like to be a bit further away from all of the action of downtown Folly. The deck gives you a sense of privacy and the daybeds on the porch are a lovely place to relax. This will be our go to rental in the future when we have a small group.

Perfect in every way!

Family of 7 with 5 kids from 18 months to 11 yrs old. This was our first ACTUAL vacation as a family, and it did NOT disappoint! Perfect location, well-stocked kitchen (which we used a ton), great washer and dryer (which we also used a ton) and so much more. The queen bunk beds were perfect for the 4 older kids. We just can't say enough good about this house! Would definitely stay here again.

Perfection!

The view from the sun porch was mesmerizing. We had planned to spend some of our week exploring Charleston but the house and the beach held us. It was too beautiful. We did enjoy going into Charleston several times for late dinners--it was only 20-30 minutes away. It was exactly the kind of vacation we needed.

Beautiful, quaint and well appointed.

Mermaid Memories is one of those cute little houses that epitomizes the beach vibe. It was clean, well-located and had more amenities than I have at my own house. While they don’t guarantee beach chairs or towels, the house has plenty and every kitchen appliance you’d ever need. You can tell this house is well loved by its owners and it’s “honorary” owners. Highly recommend
