Castle sightseeing

The property is right in the middle of a beautiful village with an historic abbey. Parking very convenient. Easy access to a multitude of fabulous sites along the Loire. Just watch your head on the beams.

Fantastic place to stay

Really enjoyed our time here. It’s a lovely place to stay and has everything you need in a self catering accommodation. Communication with the owner was brilliant. Perfect little cottage

The location is perfect, just a quick walk to the bakery, shop and entrance to the Abbey. The property is furbished to a very high standard and makes for a comfortable stay in a beautiful village and not far from all the other Chateaux and Vineyards. There is plenty of kitchen equipment and it was lovely to have a full oven, toaster, kettle, etc. We found that you can buy an annual pass to the Abbey for just 14Euros which seemed to make more sense that a single entry at 11 Euros, and we enjoyed many walks around the Abbey and took our time to see all the various areas. There is parking just a few steps from the apartment and was easy to park there but we were there in early Oct and are led to understand that it gets busy in July/Aug..... All in all a great place to stay.

Très bonne location, bonne situation, proche des sites à découvrir, fonctionnelle et très agréable. Nous recommandons ce logement. Les visites de châteaux situés proche de Fontevraud, de Saumur, de Tours et son musée du Compagnonnage.
