“After the hurricane, there were not many places in the county that had electricity, but this home did. It was a blessing for our family to be able to live and work here for a week. “The cabin had an amazing wrap around porch which was perfect for our dog. The yard was a little steep for him to play, but the roads are perfect for taking a nice hike. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with more than anything we needed. Owner was friendly and responsive to our needs. There always local green space we visited twice with our dog which was a lovely place. We would recommend this cabin to others; it was time of pure relaxing. ”

We met the host Gwen who gave us some great recommendations and also quickly fixed a minor issue. We enjoyed the restaurants in Lake Lure. GreyHawk and Lured had great outdoor spaces and food.
