"We booked the beautiful house to stay in for our daughter’s freshman move-in at Liberty University. She actually said that this was the best place I’ve ever booked (for anything). IT IS BEAUTIFUL, inside and out. The house was exceptionally clean and even had a nice subtle fresh scent. There were snacks, which were a hit with our 3 college-aged young adults. The property is beautiful! The entire insides of the house were burned at one point after his family sold the property. It was rebuilt inside when someone purchased it but once it was turned into a historical landmark, renovations began to take it back to it original interior. They are following the original plans that Thomas Jefferson created with the help of actual letters that were written to Jefferson’s head contractor at the time the house was being built. It’s going to be beautiful! Sad it’s not the original interior. But has a very interesting story! It $13/pp to tour but worth it!
