Olympic National Park Visit

As great a base camp as they claim. Close to downtown and attractions, but private enough to relax. Highly recommend.

Good location in Forks

The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The host communicated well. I think their description of the property as a "base camp" is apt. It is convenient to several areas we wanted to visit on our trip. Thanks for the stay!

Clean and spacious

Great location for seeing the beautiful Olympic peninsula. The VRBO was very clean and spacious. Great back porch area. Thanks for the nice stay!

Clean, spacious with all you will ever need in a rental. Close to town and atraccións. The perfect place for twilight fans and family time. The water on the master bedroom shower takes time to drain but other than that it was perfect. Definitely would stay here again.

Great base camp!

My wife and I had a very positive experience staying here, along with another couple, for two days. House was immaculate and the surrounding landscaping is very serene. We were visiting the Hoh Rainforest and downtown Forks. Great location!

Wonderful in every way

Huge, clean home - the backyard was a special hit for our children! Perfect location to explore Olympic. Gracious, flexible host. We highly recommend!

Nice property in central location

It was nice to rent a home with two bathrooms so each of us had our own space. Extremely clean and comfortable. The fenced yard was large enough for my dog to do Zoomies. An added bonus was the family of elk in the field across the street.

Great location for exploring the Olympic National Forest

The house was new and spacious. Perfect for a family. Great kitchen for preparing meals. We enjoyed the location it is close to restaurants in forks and close for exploring the Hoh Rain Forest and Ruby and Rialto Beach. There was an issue where the sliding doors broke after we checked out, the host looked into what happened and was very honest and didn’t charge for issues we didn’t create. Really appreciated the honesty.

Comfortable Basecamp

We stayed here for 5 nights to explore various regions of Olympic National Park. The property offered us plenty of room to spread out and relax. It was clean and well organized. Communications with the property manager were quick and efficient. I needed to stay in contact with my office during our stay. The star link was great for this. I would definitely recommend this location.

Expectations exceeded.

The property was better than described. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and all was in good shape. The fenced yard was large and the street had little traffic so it was great for our dogs. The perfect base camp for fishing trips and jaunts into Olympic National Park and Forest.

Perfect Spot

The place was perfect base for all the adventuring we did. The home is comfortable with great beds and a great space to relax after a long day. The coffee maker needs a new pot so it will make coffee. The lock box that holds the key is kinda in a weird place and is hard to open. I would also suggest maybe another chair or two for the living room. Comfy beds and a nice showers.

Clean, quiet home with everything you need

My sister and i booked this home the week before our trip. It is in a quiet neighbourhood, close to town and decent driving distance to beaches and national park/ forest. The home was spotless and the beds clean and very comfy. We loved having access to the BBQ and space to eat meals outdoors. The backyard is fully fenced which made having our dog there very easy. There are chickens in the next door neighbors yard, so be cautious if your dog has prey drive. Luckily not a worry with my guy. The check in/out process was simple. This was my first time using VRBO and overall am pleased. The caretaker company was very responsive to messages and emails when i had a concern and were able to get everything sorted out. I would stay again and recommend you give it a try if you're in the area!

Nice place to serve as a base camp.

Very nice place to serve as a base camp for your outings in and around Forks. Booking, directions and check in, all went smoothly. My friend and I had booked it for a fishing trip. Unfortunately, Forks is a three hour drive from anywhere. It was a bit of a bummer to show up to a place that had not been cleaned. The cleaning supplies were left out on the kitchen counter but that was as far as they’d gone. Master bedroom had no linens on, the bathroom and shower was covered in body hair. And the place smelled of deep fried something. Dirty dishes in the sink and dishwasher. It sucked to have to clean the place late at night before crashing. My buddy was more upset than I was. The management team was very responsive when I emailed to complain, and I wasn’t looking for a free ride, but I also was not going to pay the cleaning service fee, which was steep to begin with. Management agreed. But that’s where it ended. Nevertheless, I only took off one star, because it really is a nice place and a derelict cleaning crew shouldn’t reflect upon the owners. Crap happens. But this was my experience, for what it’s worth.

Went to Forks for my daughter's 30th birthday, as it was on her bucket list as a Twilight fan. Great place to stay and close to everything we wanted to do.
