The grounds offered a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. I loved gazing out over the Strait of Juan de Fuca, watching container ships glide past alongside sea lions, eagles, and a variety of other birds I couldn’t even name. The cabin was spotless and equipped with everything I needed. Hosts were immediate responsive yet not bothering. Loved the deck and spent hours watching the waves roll in and out. We would love to return........ Thank you for a great stay

Two Days of Beauty

This place was in an amazing location overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca, just 15 minutes from the Western most point of the contiguous US in Cape Flattery. The house was neat and well supplied, larger than the photos make it look. Information and suggestions were clearly communicated, which was much appreciated! It was a great stay!

A Great Find

This was our first time at Eagles Nest and we give it a hearty 5-star review. The Bald Eagle cabin was cozy with all the knotty pine paneling, clean, well-stocked, and the fresh eggs were a delight. The desk looking out at the Strait would make a great way to work, and the WiFi worked well. Lastly, having a 2nd bathroom was a real plus for us camping outside.

2 days of kindness and peace

We spent two lovely, peaceful days at the Eagle’s Nest. We almost missed them, because we messed up on the dates. Harrison handled our mistake with great kindness and understanding. Our hosts’ kindness extended to fresh eggs left for us. And our adventures included a refreshing afternoon at Cape Flattery, the NW-ernmost point in the US, on the lands of the Makah tribe.

Perfect Sekiu Getaway

The property exceeded all expectations. Clean, comfortable and a great location. We come to Sekiu every September to go fishing and I absolutely plan on staying here again, if it’s available.

The owners actually live next door, they were great, giving us fresh eggs from their chickens , and offered suggestions and spotlights of the area. By the Bay cafe was excellent!

February Weekend!

The place, property and beach were just as shown in the listing. Lovely view of the rolling waves and very peaceful quiet beach. The house had everything we needed for a great weekend get away.

We did not know what to expect from our last minute decision to stay at Eagle's Nest. The beach, the calm waves, the beautiful sunsets, the friendly hosts - we were not disappointed. We would love to someday do it all again and recommend this to everyone.

Great off-season respite

A great getaway, in less than ideal weather given the season and the rain...but easy access to Cape Flattery and Neah Bay. Saw eagles and ducks every morning and about 6 otters swimming down the river one morning!

Great spot!

Stayed in both cabins due to scheduling and thoroughly enjoyed them both. Great "base camp" for surfing with Neah Bay and Hobuck beach out to the west, potential surf breaks at the Seiku and Hoko River mouths right in front of the cabins, and Twin Rivers/Crescent Beach just to the east. The cabins themselves have every amenity you could need or want and the hosts are wonderful, warm people. I'll be back.

Beautiful, quiet and relaxing

We really enjoyed our time here. It was a great size and allowed us to get out with our pups and have fun on the beach. We went into Neah Bay and hiked the Cape Flattery lookout trail and we also got to relax. We saw so much wildlife, but it was a special treat for me to see a family of river otters slide into the river and swim into the salt water on our last morning there.

A truly wonderful property and experience. The host was very clear about what we needed to bring and what we would find locally. The grounds keeper introduced himself when we arrived and let us know how to find him if we needed anything. Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed beachcombing and birdwatching at the property and also some nearby hikes. We are already thinking of coming back in warmer weather to take full advantage of the beach and water.

Restore, replenish, revitalize

We couldn't have made this 3-night getaway more perfect if we tried - excpet to maybe have three more nights.... The cabin was pristine, well equipped, and very comfortable, and the location was ideal. Nestled between trees with a direct view on the water, and easy access to a very walkable, virtually private beach with troves of treasures for beachcombers! We had eagles for company, and every aspect of our stay was perfect. Gracious hosts Harrison and Kandice clearly know the balance betwen ensuring their guests are cared for and giving them maximal privacy. We cannot recommend it enough.

Nice get away

We really enjoyed it. Great beach. We weren't expecting to wake up to 14 inches of snow. They plowed the driveway for us. The key lock box is a little tricky. One of those "oh duh..." when someone shows you what you're doing wrong. We would definately go back.

This rental is a cute, cabin-like trailer. The pine interior siding and heaters make it cozy and it has everything you need. The area around Cape Flattery doesn't offer a lot of lodging, so if you want to explore that part of the Olympic Peninsula, this is a great option. I gave a poor cleanliness rating because we arrived to find the cabin and not been cleaned since the last renter. Feces was dried in one of the toilets, the dirty sheets and towels were in a pile on the floor and there were no clean linens or towels. We left three messages at the number we found in the cabin info binder, but the owner never got back to us until we did some sleuthing and found a better number. The internet was out (no fault of the owner) and the email contact function on Expedia didn't work, so it took several hours for us to let him know that the cabin had not been cleaned. To his credit, the owner came a short time later to make it right and he gave us a credit for the cleaning fee (yea, I would hope so) and another for the inconvenience. I appreciate the owner trying to make it right. He also has chickens and he gave us some fresh eggs. Very nice! But the floor and shelves were filthy, like they had not been cleaned in a long time. The place needed a good scouring. Be prepared if your cleanliness standards are high. Also, the rental is advertised as pet friendly, but actually, it allows only dogs. I booked the place before I knew. The listing should be clear. Cats are pets.
