If you are forced to stay near the airport, then you really don't have too many options. It's the only Airport hotel. The main issue is that Airport is far from everything and therefore no local transportation to look for stores etc and walk around. Just the beautiful gardens. I'm not a big fan of Hiroshima's airport as it is very inconvenient.

The entry is extremely hard to find- look for a narrow doorway in the middle of the block, not where the map places you. Signage is poor. Take the elevator to the 5th floor. Reception is unmanned but there is a phone if you have problems with their automatic sign-in (we did). Once we were in the room it was fine for the night.

Great traditional hotel big room good onsen If you don’t want Japanese food or are vegetarian, don’t opt for breakfast as it’s a set meal with lots of fish etc Free beer and ice cream on the top floor Great location
