「Well furnished, clean, quiet (except for the cicadas, which I don't mind). Easy to get to, the hosts were great communicators. Don't forget to grab some carrots for the horses!」

「We absolutely loved staying here!! My husband played golf one morning and had a blast doing that. My only tip is to grab water bottles or jugs on your way in if you like filtered drinking water (the fridge doesn’t have any.) Big Canoe is a great centralized location to visit the many cute surroundings towns! We hit up a few each day. We will definitely be back, especially when the kids are older as a get away retreat!」

「Beautiful house right on the lake. The kids loved the kayaks and the beach area right around the corner from this house. House is exactly as pictured with a beautiful view of lake Tamarack. Perfect spot to get away from it all. 」

「We loved the location of the cabin! It’s tucked away on the bank of the river. The cabin itself is very cozy and the aesthetics of the decor make it very comfortable. The swings and the fire pit are nice touches. We were able to see deer and what we think was a gopher. There were many areas to walk and explore. I would definitely recommend this cabin!」

「Fabulous little hide away, so close to town! We had a wonderful time 」

「Everything was lovely, rooms and bathrooms clean and ready, beds comfortable, kitchen great with nice appliances, comfortable living space, great for gathering, playing games (provided), having conversations. We were here for a family wedding and it was great for recharging between the various gatherings and activities with the wedding weekend!」

「Beautifully restored cabin in the mountains. Easy to find, close to Dahlonega. Host was quick to respond to any questions. Would recommend!」

「We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was extremely clean when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked. The back porch was perfect for spending time together and playing board games. While drinking coffee on the front porch, we saw deer crossing the road in front of the house. The drive up is winding with hard-packed gravel and it did rain a significant amount while we were here, but we had no trouble getting there in a 2wd vehicle. 」

「Very peaceful and relaxing. Just what I wanted and needed. The only thing, which wasn’t really a big deal, the pond was listed as fully stocked. It was, but with tiny little baby fish about the size of baby minnows. Didn’t matter to us, but someone who wanted to fish might not like it. But it was very clean and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again」

「My husband and I had a very relaxing weekend at this home that was clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake and many deer to watch while having our morning coffee. We hope to go back again soon!」

「It was a great decision for us to choose Sugar Pine Cabin as a place to stay in Dahlonega for the "Christmas In A Small Town" weekend. The word that sums up our stay is CHARMING! The cabin and the detail to its decor and amentities is outstanding. A very Charming atmosphere. The attention to detail regarding our stay from our host Katherine was a Ritz Carlton 5 Star Experience. She was so attentive to making our stay wonderful. She communitcated daily to make sure everything was going...

「Cabin was very nice and clean. A little steep to get down to the creek and we really missed having a washer and dryer but overall this is a great place to stay and I would recommend to anyone. 」

"At first, the mattress was upside down, and I could feel the springs when sleeping. The room was not cleaned at all, and it felt like there were bugs everywhere. I asked the front desk to clean it twice. One time they said it was cleaned once a week, and another time they said it wasn't scheduled. The experience was very bad."
