Ft Atkinson lake house
My family loved relaxing in this comfy house. We were in Ft Atkinson to see our oldest son perform at the Fireside Dinner Theatre. We brought along my 80 year old parents and they loved it as well! They used the master bedroom and bath while we slept in the smaller bedroom and our younger son slept on the pull out bed in the living room. There was room for all six of us to enjoy meals at the dining table. And we even played some of the games from the living room cabinet. The view of the lake was pretty - we saw a bald eagle a couple of times! It was a very pleasant stay!

The property suited our needs well. We did have several issues, including an electrical issue and an issue with the garage door. The host was very prompt in her responses.

Thank you for your stay. I’m sorry about the two issues. The garage door repair was taken care of the day you checked out and the electrician will be there Tuesday. I would gladly have had them taken care of at the time you had the issue, if you hadn’t wanted to wait. I hope you will give us a second chance.

Relaxing stay
This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it’s just perfect for a relaxing get away. Beautiful view of the water, great fire pit, updated comfortable house, everything we needed was provided. Tammy is always super quick to respond. We’ll be back next year.

Nice and easy; Good getaway
Had a pleasant long weekend to celebrate partner’s birthday and to get away from it all. Nice place to connect outside and relax inside. Lake view is lovely, plenty of towels, some good remodel choices. We had a little bit of noise issues with dog next door and with outside tree trimming and removal (beeping construction truck noises throughout the weekend). Could use a new screen on back door to keep bugs out when allowing in fresh air. Comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture and huge back yard with nice grass.

Had a wonderful time. THe place had everything you need for your stay. THe water system was a big big plus--water was delicious. Property manager was very very responsive. Gladly give this place 5 stars!

We enjoyed our stay at the lakehouse! We were in town for a festival in Madison (30 mins away). We did struggle to get an uber quickly to drive us to Madison, just as a note for others (no issue with an uber driving us back from Madison, though!). As for the place itself, it's cute though definitely on the smaller side. It's been updated, although it felt as though many of the updates/amenities were very basic (ie, carpet had a bit of an odor in the bedrooms, mattresses were just 'meh' comfortable, main bathroom has some older features still (though very usable). For the price for 2 nights, we would have wanted a bit more comfort at the house, if that makes sense. That said, the lake views were wonderful, we enjoyed the firepit (and free firewood, thank you!). The property manager was very nice/helpful/responsive throughout our short weekend stay, especially after we had a minor issue in one of the bathrooms (from what I gather, the septic system is very sensitive). Thanks for the stay!

Beautiful lake side property!
The place is small, but was great for 4 people. Lots of nice touches like an extension cord in the garage that we used for a fan on the deck. The lake views were wonderful from the deck. Being able to walk to a restaurant/bar was fantastic. Tammy was very quick to respond to my questions both before and during our stay.

Our kids did not want to leave!
Our family of four (kids 6 and 3 years old) had a wonderful time here. Owners were amazing with communication and very helpful at all times. The huge yard was great for games and getting our kids' energy out-as well as the private beach! When we wanted a change of scenery, there were several options very close by. The kids told us they wanted to stay forever and I don't blame them! We have rented lake houses for a decade and this was one of the best ones we have stayed at!

Crazy weather!
Well... The weather certainly didn't cooperate :( The only thing would be a dolly or something to assist bringing the paddle boat down to the water... We didn't with the weather, but it's a long way! Especially with only one able bodied person, handicap woman and two kids. Anyways the views were lovely, the dog and kids had a great time, we were a little concerned with the tornado (lol!) Wonderful Stay
This cabin is exactly as described, we had such a relaxing time. Super clean, comfortable couches and beds, amazing lake view, pet friendly, well stocked kitchen, nice deck, and nice outdoor space including fire pit. It was very muddy when we arrived so being able to park in the garage was a huge plus. Easy check in/out and Tammy was very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Quality time with the kids and continuing education
Clean, professionally remodeled little cabin on the lake, everything that we needed, simple and common sense set up, quiet and safe residential neighborhood. It was zero degrees outside, but the cabin stayed warm and cozy. The large kitchen window and sliding glass door overlook the lake facing east so the sunrise greeted us each morning, so gorgeous! The dvd selections and board games, color changing fireplace were all extra fun. Host was quick to reply and the printed instructions are accurate.

Stayed for our son's wedding in Fort Atkinson
This was a well maintained property, It was the perfect size for our 4 day stay and was pet friendly, so we were able to bring our 2 pugs along so they wouldn't have to stay at a kennel. We had a brief problem with the WiFi, but Tammy was very responsive and we were able to resolve it. We would come here again (preferably in the summer next time to enjoy the location to the lake!)

Great place for a relaxing quiet weekend
Interior of home is all updated and clean. You'd never know you have neighbors here because all you can see is the lake. Sunrise is beautiful from the deck. Good location with easy access to many surrounding towns. Everything was as described.

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The home was clean and accurate to the listing. We enjoyed being able to walk to the nearby restaurant in a couple of minutes and enjoy the lake view while we dined. Lake conditions prevented us from enjoying the water, but we went to the nearby Fort Atkinson Aquatic Center for lots of splashing fun.

Tammy was a wonderful host, and dealt with our couple problems in a timely fashion. This house has a wonderful yard looking out onto the lake and I was really impressed with the amount and condition of all of the yard games. Made it very fun when our kids came to visit!

Nice lake access
Clean property on the shore of Lake Koshkonong. Small beach area that was great for kids to play and swim. No dock (there was a boat lift) but the water was shallow enough that we could anchor the boat we rented for the day and just walk to shore. Property provided access to paddle boat and kayaks.

Fantastic!
The house was super clean and I had no allergy issues here. Very cute decor and everything you could need. We had a very minor issue and Tammy took care of it immediately. Great communication with her before and during our stay. The lake was wonderful and we enjoyed the kayaking. The beds are very comfy and kitchen had everything you could want. We enjoyed a show at the Fireside Theatre and there is a good restaurant very close with great beers on tap. We will be back again in the future. You can’t go wrong with booking this VRBO!

Christmas gift to our Mother, spent Mother's Day weekend together.
Enjoyed our weekend get away in this cute, comfortable home. Close to the Fireside Theater, great dinner theater experience. Delicious fish fry at the Outpost bar, just down the road. Board games at the kitchen table with lots of laughter. Beautiful lakefront surroundings enjoyed from the comfortable deck. Wish we could have stayed longer & made use of the paddle boats & kayaks. I hope to return again!!

Weekend lake get away
The property was exactly how we expected. It was very nice. Beautifully decorated and updated. It was very comfy. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best so we didn’t get to do any fishing but we did enjoy walking around the neighborhood and lake.
