Major's Apartment is one of the larger properties within the main building of Highland Club Scotland at Loch Ness.
Guests of Major's Apartment benefit from two access doors on each of its two levels, one to the interior facilities of the abbey and the other to the main grounds. This stunning apartment also provides superb views over the grounds and cricket field from both the master bedroom on the ground floor and from the living room on first floor. It is the perfect place for your family vacation.
All our guests at Majors Apartment can acess the facilities which include the heated indoor swimming pool, gym, Tennis Court, Table Tennis and Badminton (outdoor).
The swimming pool complex is operated by facilities company who charge a premium for entry to the pool. Restrictions apply. We will send booking and payment link closer to arrival time.
There is also the Club Lounge where you will find a snooker table, tool table and table football. You will also find here a range of books, various board games and free WiFi access, making this the only choice to make for a family holiday in Loch Ness.

Ground floor level entrance:
an attractive entrance with plush designer carpeting leads through to the accommodation. A carpeted stairway takes you upstairs past the architectural window on the landing and on to a spacious lounge perfectly apportioned with quality furniture and decoration.

Living Room:
is decorated and furnished to a high standard in a modern style. In addition, it is equipped with quality visual and audio entertainment systems including WiFi and full broadband Internet.

Separate kitchen:
located just beyond the lounge. It is fully equipped with washing machine and dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven, microwave oven, kettle and toaster. The owners have ensured this apartment has more than enough equipment to ensure you feel right at home!

Three bedrooms:
sleeps 6 guest and enjoys the benefit of a lounge area with separate kitchen. The apartment layout retains the character of the original abbey architecture.
The twin bedroom is partitioned off with sliding doors and leads through to a spacious master bedroom. Access is through an arch passageway that would lead through to the Major’s accommodation. The master bedroom, with en suite bathroom, is unique in Majors Apartment as it gives a window view. This is of the grounds of the Abbey towards the slightly wooded entrance. The 2nd bedroom and the twin bedroom have excellent ventilation and are well lit considering their location at the back end of the apartment.

Family Shower room:
with high quality power shower, and fittings. This room was once the Gunpowder Store in the days of the fort as evidenced by the pretend window on the outside to disguise its use.

The en-suite:
is also spacious and luxurious with a traditional style freestanding bath. To the right of the passage a further double room, which is also spacious and tastefully furnished. History seems to speak to you as you wander through.
