The front desk was very communicative prior to my arrival. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a decent view of the ocean. I liked the easy access to gas stations and food establishments. The breakfast was simple but ample. The central location to beaches, shops, and tourist attractions make this hotel a great choice.

It was ok, but not quite what we had expected/hoped for. Bed/matrass was very comfortable. Lightbulb 1 of the bedside lamps burned out. Bathroom: Sink was not draining, backed up. Kitchenette: not worth the extra $$. No drinking glasses, only 1 fork, no way to wash dishes: no dish drainer, sponge, kitchen towel, pot holder, paper towels, lightbulb in oven and microwave surface light burned out.

Seabird is at the southend of Ft. Bragg on Hwy 1 (PCH). The property is older maybe built in the 70's or 80's. It is well maintained. Checkin was very good and the reception staff kind of worked off a script. Every checkin is the same. We booked a room with a king size bed and a balcony with a view of the ocean, although maybe a quarter mile away. There is an indoor pool and a restaurant across the parking lot that is part of the property. There is also a few gas stations and small stores very close. This stretch of PCH has a few beaches (glass beach) and state parks. The Seabird is know for their breakfast and it didn't disappoint. They have a nice size dedicated room just for this. They offered anything you can have for breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, etc) and they were cooked on the spot and fresh. It was excellent. Overall I would recommend staying here and I would do it again.

There was a banging sound coming from the other side of the wall of our room. It sounded like it may have been coming from a utility room or equipment area. It went on intermittently all night and into the next morning. I spoke to the front desk in person at 7 AM and she said I should have called them, which I should have, but now I am asking you to please take care of it and she said she would. Over an hour later, still noisy so I spoke to the front desk in person again. The issue was never resolved, we never received an explanation or an apology. I have no confidence that calling them in the middle of the night would have done any good.

The staff were amazing and the room was clean. We really enjoyed the cute bow that was made with wash clothes each day. We were on an extended vacation and traveled to multiple cities. After an unfortunate stay at another hotel, we really appreciated the cleanliness and attentiveness of staff and will be staying next time we are in town. We also really enjoyed the pool and the hot rub which were clean as well.

I went with two friends.the room was clean,warm,and in the morning,went for the contendental breakfast!
