The room was roomy and welcoming. I always enjoy my stays at the Surf and Sound. Other than noisy neighbors with children who eventually settled down at 11 pm, the stay was relaxing.

The ground were beautiful and it was right across the beach and along a walking/bike path. They had a great size fridge inside the room. Better than most hotels. Parking was very convenient to all of the rooms and would stay here again. Best place in Fort Bragg!

We stayed at the Surf and Sand Lodge on our last night up the PCH and it was a perfect ending to a great trip! Bridgette at the front desk gave us excellent recommendations on food and things to do and was incredibly generous in upgrading our room once she learned that we were on our honeymoon. You CAN NOT beat the location! We loved being able to walk straight to the beach and enjoyed our sunset right on the water. The room was very clean and comfortable and every staff interaction we had was above expectations.

Two female friends traveling together felt safe from start to finish. (We would have appreciated a bolt or security latch on our door as a safeguard, but still the hotel environment felt safe and easy.) Loved the ease of the walking path along the shore. Our views were tremendous. We will definitely visit again with our families.

I loved that we got to have an ocean view! It’s a must if you’re booking here- and the ocean is a short walk out the door. It was so nice to have the slider open to listen to the waves. Surf and Sand is right on the main road, and also a paved walkway between the property and ocean (with vegetation to walk through). The paved walkway is a great way to walk as well as the pathways in the vegetation along the ocean. Fort Bragg was a great place to stop for a couple of days bc of the location, and it’s a bigger Seaside town with more stores if you need anything. This property was clean, everything came as it looked, and the price was great for it.
