"Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed all the driftwood, made mosaics with the different colored rocks, kayaked, and LOVED all the wildlife. A bald eagle flew by every morning, we saw a family of deer on the beach, and a family of otters in the water!We also saw orca! Which according to the neighbors, is very very rare. We couldn't believe it and our kids were ecstatic. An absolute answer to prayer.Important to note: the house is right next to a naval base where the fighter jets practice touch and goes, sometimes for hours at night. It was certainly a very loud, wild, yet epic experience and something my kids will remember forever. It may not be for everyone if you're sensitive to sounds as the jets fly right over the house."

"Great house with a nice view of the Puget Sound, Port Townsend ferry terminal, and amazing sunsets. House conditions were very clean and comfortable with a good kitchen to take care of your cooking needs. The only minor notes are the squeakiness of the wooden stairs heading up to the upper bedrooms and the stairs into the bathroom off the master bedroom. For the wooden stairs, if you are or have a soft sleeper in your party, just be aware they are loud going up or down. For the bathroom stairs, they have the potential of becoming an issue in the middle of the night if you forget they are present."

The bathrooms are big and pristine with white tile and newly updated. The property is a quintessential sunny Whidbey field and plot of land. The location makes it easy to go to Coupeville and enjoy all of the cuteness that Whidbey has to offer."
