- Our beautiful Davis Mountains surround this cozy cabin, nestled in Limpia Canyon, just minutes from downtown Fort Davis and located on part of the historic Sproul Ranch! The cabin sleeps four in a one king bed/one bath, including full-size sleeper sofa in living area. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Two covered porches (back porch screened) provide the perfect spot for entertaining, bird watching, star gazing, reading and relaxing. Come sit back, relax, enjoy the views, and take a hike!

This is an incredible cabin! The location is perfect, close to everything, but very secluded. Beautiful property and fun vibe. I wasn't able to make the McDonald nighttime tour, but was rewarded with my own Dark Skies experience at the cabin including a shower of shooting stars. The owners were great to deal with and had thought of everything for the place. Highly recommend this spot if you are in the Fort Davis area.

We were so very happy with the house- very comfortable for our family of 3, clean, lots of porches and shady places to lounge, amazing views, secluded, wildlife all around, and so much space to hike and explore. We would definitely stay again.

My Dream Cabin!
We loved the cabin and the secluded location. Porches on each side gave us a beautiful view on each side. The decorating was gorgeous and cabin had everything we could have ever needed. Enjoyed watching the wildlife around the cabin. Would love to go back again.

Perfect cabin in the mountains
We stayed here in June and loved it. It’s the perfect mix between a secluded mountain cabin but a very short drive to town to grab food or groceries. The views are beautiful and it’s very close to the observatory. We will def stay here again.

Lovely stay
We spent the week here for our honeymoon, it was wonderful. We had plenty of amenities, everything we needed to cook meals with, and enjoyed the solace together in nature. We will be back in the future!

Relaxing Stay, Great Location
The cabin offers seclusion, wildlife, and all the amenities one needs to have a relaxing stay while only a 5 minute drive to Fort Davis. The lack of light in the area makes for great star gazing.

Couple’s Retreat to the Mountains
What a beautiful ranch and wonderful property! Secluded…tucked away in the mountains…yet a few miles to Ft. Davis and the Davis Mountains SP. The Observatory is also a quick drive from the cabin. Perfect get-a-way for a couple wanting quiet and relaxation!
